This gorgeous farmhouse was the perfect home base for our family visit to the lake district. You could spend your entire trip just enjoying the immediate surroundings. Everything was clean, comfortable, and like the pictures but more beautiful!

Our host and hostess were very friendly and helpful with advice about the area and lent us an extensive map of the area. There was an issue with the heating, they provided backup heaters and a nice bottle of wine for the inconvenience.
