Location was ideal for visiting other places and a beautiful setting especially the sunrise on a good day... comfortable, relaxing house and room, very quiet...hosts Ben and V were very welcoming and nothing was too much if needed anything . breakfast was fab especially the toast...lovely local pub within walking distance The Pheasant inn... great value for money would definitely book again.

The Dash Farmhouse offers self-catering accommodation just 4 miles from Bassenthwaite village, 37 km from Windermere. The property is set in 200 acres of farmland and features free private parking. Very special place. This gorgeous farmhouse was the perfect home base for our family visit to the lake district. You could spend your entire trip just enjoying the immediate surroundings. Everything was clean, comfortable, and like the pictures but more beautiful!

The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was well-furnished and very pretty. The property was lovely and easy to find and navigate. The staff were kind and helpful when reached by phone.

Beautiful setting,we had a wonderful view from our window. Breakfast was cooked to order and very tasty. Our host and hostess were very friendly and helpful with advice about the area and lent us an extensive map of the area. There was an issue with the heating, they provided backup heaters and a nice bottle of wine for the inconvenience.

Lakeside Country Guest House is situated in front of Bassenthwaite Lake with mountain views which can be enjoyed from the front bedrooms. It is ideally located between from Keswick and Cockermouth. Loved the location, views and the individual attention. It made us all feel that little bit special. Tim and Karen were really helpful and gave great advice for food places and places of interest.

Fell Foot - Ukc5294, a property with a garden, is situated in Bassenthwaite, 46 km from World of Beatrix Potter, 16 km from Cat Bells, as well as 17 km from Whinlatter Forest Park. Accommodation was excellent, everything you needed under one small roof!! The location was superb with lovely surrounding views, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Situated in Bassenthwaite in the Cumbria region, Dobby Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Our second year coming on holidays at this lodge. Always great! Nothing to complain. Clean, great location, comfy, enough space for us and has everything we need for a good time on holidays. We are already planning next year here again for the 3rd time.

Our stay at Apple Tree Cottage was thoroughly enjoyable. The property was very well looked after and immaculately clean. The owner who greeted us was friendly and pleasant and supplied us with a lovely welcome hamper. We loved the finishing touches such as a welcome note with our names written on the front door porch blackboard. It was a nice thought and made us feel special. Thank you. 😊👌
