Located 17 mi from Vesoul in the Franche-Comté region, this hotel features air-conditioned rooms and a traditional restaurant. Very nice and comfortable hotel, very friendly innkeeper, breakfast was excellent (so was dinner at the hotel restaurant), unpretentious, and on all counts authentic, nice and generous, an excellent value for money. We will likely return to spend more time and visit the surroundings.

Chateau de Rigny sits on a 5-hectare park located on the banks of the Saône River. It has a terrace that overlooks the park and the outdoor swimming pool and tennis court. The breakfast was delicious and the view from the breakfast room was lovely.

Overlooking the thermal area, the hotel occupies a privileged position in Luxeuil-les-Bains. It is surrounded by a large, floral garden and also features a sauna and hot tub. We loved the heated swimming pool which is a good size too. The room was large and comfortable and we enjoyed the kettle with tea and coffee. We liked being within walking distance of the centre of town and the thermal baths. The staff were all charming and very helpful, both in the restaurant and the room cleaning. They are obviously happy with their job. The breakfast was excellent, very varied and generally generous. The lovely lady there will cook you eggs if you just ask. There was also plenty of fresh fruit and quality cheeses. This hotel is very well run and not skimping on anything.
