Featuring a garden, Les Cabottes is located in Change in the Bourgogne region, 14 miles from Hospices Civils de Beaune and 15 miles from Beaune Train Station. Lovely setting with a view on the vineyards. Very comfortable stay in the newly refurbished Maison d'hotes with a spacious room, comfortable matress (no topper, but high quality and good for both back and lateral sleeping styles) and absolute silence (in the night, until the church bells ring at 7am..!). Young and very professional (and hipster) hosts, who can complement the stay with high-level recommendations and loads of other services. Loved the touch of a record player in the room with blues viniles. Great access to nature and just a 5-10 mins drive to several of the most interesting appellations of Hautes Cotes de Beaune wineries, from Meursault to Pommard, Volnay or Santenay. Highly recommended. Will be back when in the region.

Beaune is a picturesque old 15th century town that is the perfect hub for touring the Burgundy wine country. No need for a car, just rent a bike, Pommard, Merseault and Beaune are connected by a lovely winding bike path through the vineyards.
This tiny village is a peaceful base well located to visit many wonderful sites around this northern part of Burgundy. A visit to Abbaye de Frontenay is a must - a cluster of the most serene medieval buildings in gorgeous garden.
We got lucky and visited the castle during a renaissance festival! There was also a blues band playing the night we were there and a farmers market the next morning. A lot going on for a tiny town! A must for a Burgundy trip!
Great for two nights. If you’re intent on doing all the touristy things in town and eating your way through. Otherwise a nice spot for a long day trip. And then head black to your vineyard area room for more exploration of Burgundy.
Beautiful old city with good restaurants & interesting historical sites. Hospice de Beaune is a must see site for the area. Beaune is very convenient to the Burgundy wine region & Cote Dor so that many vineyards can be reached during a day of touring the region. Or, for example Meursault is only a 20 minute drive away so that time can be easily divided between wine tasting and touring Beaune in a day. Many wine tours depart from Beaune and it is an easy drive from Geneva. Beaune is also a very walkable city. We would prefer to stay again in Beaune over Dijon.

A perfect place to stay when in Burgundy. Charming, historic town center. World class restaurants and wine tasting. It is out in the French countryside so make sure to brush up on your French a little.
Beaune is a lovely little village in the French wine country of Burgundy. My main reason for coming was to visit the medieval hospice, The Hotel de Dieu, with the fantastic altarpiece by Rogier Van Der Weyden. I would, however, set aside just one day to visit Beaune as that was plenty for me. It is just a short walk to the old town, so no transportation is at all necessary.
Great location for a stopover while travelling through France as very close to the motorway exit. We were travelling to Italy and only wanted somewhere to eat and sleep after a long day - although the town itself is lovely and is close to Beaune and Dijon so the hotel could be a base if you wanted to explore this part of Burgundy. Staff were helpful and very friendly. We ate on the terrace outside so not sure if the dogs would be welcomed inside in colder weather. Room was clean. Dinner and breakfast were good.
Le Central Boutique Hotel is probably the best place to stay in Beaune. The place is lovely, common spaces are beautifully furnished and staff is very nice and helpful, they help me rent a bike and let me keep it in their garage for the time needed during my stay. The host, Edgar, managed to build a very familiar environment, it really feels like home. Also, it's close to anything you'll ever need. I blow my birthday candle here, it has been my best stop in Burgundy!
This hotel was in a perfect location in central Auxerre. If you are landing at CDG and are looking to immediately travel to Burgundy, I cannot recommend stopping in Auxerre and staying here more. Damien greeted us, showed us around the property, and helped bring our luggage to the third floor. He gave us great recommendations on local wines to try. His dog Cyrus is adorable too. All in all 10/10. A wonderful start to our honeymoon.

the size, amenities, owner, location, breakfast, everything was great. best stay I had on a 2 week biking trip thru Burgundy. Hadrian was very helpful in every way, English was very good.the apartment is large and a welcome relief after 12 days in mostly small hotel rooms. 2 bedrooms and nice shower. also good secure storage for our bikes. unless you're trying to stay budget I suggest you book this place.
The apartment is charming and spacious, with a functional kitchen. The courtyard is nice for good weather stays. The beds were comfortable. The location is excellent, near the tour horologe and in the centre of the charming town of Avallon. Just a short work to the boulangerie, boucherie, other shops, gardens and the town walls. Avallon is situated in a beautiful part of Burgundy.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The bar was well-stocked with local produce (this is Burgundy country but they also stocked an excellent locally brewed beer). The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The free wifi worked. Breakfast was good. This is not a hotel with pretensions to luxury but a very good mid-market place for a stopover on a trip through France.
This is a good base to use if you're visiting the Burgundy region and Beaune. Nuits-St-Georges is a nice small town surrounded by vineyards, with good restaurants and cafés. This hotel had all that we needed for a two-night stay. It's close to the autoroute for easy access and has lots of parking, as well as being close to the town and all amenities.
Puligny-Montrachet
The location was perfect for exploring the Burgundy region and its amazing wines. The Mews is a lovely little apartment with all mod cons and is extremely comfortable. The hosts Jill and Steve were very hands on in answering questions and making bookings on our behalf. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their help and advice made our stay very special.
The restaurant was excellent, exceptional, and the service was spot-on and attentive. The team explained each dish and took the time to engage, which was nice. It was up there with the best food we had whilst travelling around burgundy. Our room was comfortable and ideal for an overnight stay. There is free parking directly outside the hotel.
Elegant, spacious bathroom, deep closets and a panoramic view of the countryside from my room. Staff were all gracious and helpful. The location is perfect. It is surrounded by natural beauty and historic buildings. Vezelay and the this area of Burgundy is truly beautiful. Everyone I encountered was friendly and generous with their time.

Beautiful location in a small and charming village in the Burgundy area. Jean Luc provided us a very warm welcome and help for a restaurant reservation. We (and our dog) had an immediate homely feeling. The breakfast next morning in the beautiful garden was a real treat. The apartment is tastefully decorated, cozy and spacious.
I wonder why this brilliant hotel has only 3 stars. I,ve been to 5 stars which is much worse than this one. staff absolutely fantastic, location very good, breakfast just great, rooms very comfy. So to whom it may concern, give them more stars. on my way through Burgundy, I found place when I gonna stop . Thank you

it is an ideal location for seeing the burgundy area of France, vineyards, wineries, tastings, etc. The hostess is exceptional The property has a washing machine and dishwasher, which are very helpful We also had a beautiful garden in back to entertain and relax I would highly recommend and would stay there again!
Location is 15mins walk to centre Dijon, 2 mins by tram outside hotel. Hotel has generous apartment room size and balcony, practical small kitchen. Small fitness equipment but practical. Right next door to Gastromomie Food Exhibition and shops (Burgundy food and wine region). Excellent stay for family.
It was an interesting experience to stay in chateau, which I would recommend to anyone visiting Burgundy. Room was great, with cozy bed and all the antique furniture and the view from the room over the wine yards is amazing. Hotel is managed by a Dutch couple which is very friendly and supporting.
Paray-le-Monial
This apartment is conveniently located in the heart of Paray-le-Monial and within driving distance of some nice sites in Burgundy such as Solutré, Cluny and Berzé-le-Châtel. It was very clean, quiet, tastefully decorated and would be spacious enough for 6 people.
This place is value for money. The hotel restaurant (I suppose run by an independent entrepreneur) offers a nice choice of burgundy specialities for dinner between 19.00 and 22.00. Tram and train station are close. Pet friendly.

The location is excellent for easily touring Burgundy. The menu is limited if there for several days but the quality is excellent as is the service throughout the hotel
