It was our stay on the way to Ruka. Everything was perfect, room facilities, sauna and so on. Breakfast was also nice. Highly recommend :)

Located in the Finnish Lake District and 6.2 mi from central Kuopio, Spa Hotel Kunnonpaikka offers free parking as well as free pool and gym access. Great spoit to stay with family. Really enjoyed all of spa facilities. Great brealfast.

Located in the heart of Kuopio, this hotel offers rooms with luxury bedding and a flat-screen TV. The hotel also offers free sauna access and a gift shop focusing on souvenirs from Lapland. The location, 1 min walk from the Train station, 3 min walk to the new train/bus station. 10 min walk to the city center. It was the best hotel i stayed in Finland so far. Love the Artic Pine scented soap/shampoo.

We enjoyed the peaceful ambiance coupled with the Iisalmi Jazz Friday night event with world-class musicians, plus a ballroom Dance Saturday session during our stay. We appreciated the spacious twin room with super comfortable beds, fine dining with exquisite Nordic flavours (compliments to the chef), friendly restaurant staff, relaxation in the rarely found Finnish Smoke Sauna (marvellous experience) and spa. Here, the natural beauty of the river flowing by and the tall trees and forest around us were captured through the windows in every room. Superb.

This modern hotel has a central location on Kuopio's market square, Kauppatori. It offers stylish guest rooms and free sauna access. Kuopio Station is less than 10 minutes' walk away. Very clean,looks like new,very comfortable beds,big and nice rooms,very good breakfast!!!

Located in central Rautavaara, near Lake Keyritty, this hotel offers international cuisine and rooms with private terraces. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and free private parking. Nice place to sleep over while driving to or from a hiking trip. The hotel is about 15 min away from the Tiilikkajärvi national park. Our room had own etrance and sauna, and a small terrace in the back (with a couple of old chairs), facing a pond. We also had a kitchenette, but without a stove, so did not use it. There is a grocery store right next to the hotel. The building of the hotel is not new, but the shower had been renovated and a modern keycode lock on the door made life easy. Incredibly friendly hosts, made us coffee to go in the morning.
