The place was incredible. The unit was spectacular, clean, tidy, comfortable. It was like being cocooned in a wonderful embrace surrounded by snow. We loved it so much!!

This boutique hotel is 5 mi from Rovaniemi Airport and Santa Claus Village. It features bright, ultra-modern rooms with individually themed décor. WiFi and parking are free. The concierge, restaurant, and housekeeping staff went out of their way to make me feel like I was their most important guest. As a solo traveler, this really made me feel extra welcomed. The restaurant food was incredible - I tried something new on the menu every night and was never disappointed. The breakfast buffet was large, varied, decadent, and delicious.

Located right next to the Ounasvaara Winter Sports Center on Ounasvaara Fell, Lapland Hotel Sky Ounasvaara offers a restaurant and roof terrace with views over Rovaniemi city and the Kemijoki River... Amazing location, beautiful surroundings. The staff is very nice, the rooms are cosy and clean, the hotel really does play into Arctic fantasy. Also, for people travelling with dogs - 1. a scenic trail starts pretty much 10 meters from the door of the hotel, and it’s very convenient to say the least 2. While a lot of hotels claim that they are dog friendly, in reality they simply “accept dogs”. This hotel is actually dog-friendly, offering bowls, towels, snacks and “please do not disturb our pet” door sign.

Located in Rovaniemi, within 10 miles of Arktikum Science Centre and 11 miles of Santa Park, Nova Galaxy Village provides accommodations with a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property as well... Love it our beautiful experience in this igloos hotel. I loved that each igloo had their own private sauna. The kitchen restaurant is cool and the cook is Swiss. They have a private huski tour and there also private snowmobile tours and there are 2 cute reindeers living there :) we had luck to have a clear sky and at night we saw a beautiful Aurora under our heads.

Located in Rovaniemi, 15 miles from Arktikum Science Centre, Hotel Boreas has accommodations with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Everything was perfect. Very nice staff. Also, they had lots of cool box games. Perfect remote location for the northern lights.

Located near SantaPark, Arctic TreeHouse Hotel offers accommodations in Rovaniemi. Offering suites, guests can enjoy views of the surrounding forest and even the Northern Lights if lucky. design and location was superb. pricy due to season and demand. wish we could have had more nights but they were limited on availability

Located on the island of Vartiosaari, this hotel offers rooms with Finnish design and free WiFi. The island is accessed via a 236 feet long hanging bridge over the river Kemijoki. The setting was absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous snow and scenery. Very quite area. The rooms were stunning, had everything we needed. Very friendly, homely feeling. Its a family run hotel, the lady who was working the days we were staying was so friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to chat to our kids about there days trips and what plans they had when she would meet them outside. Taxis are about 30euro from the hotel to Santa Claus Village & City Centre.

Just 2 minutes’ drive from Rovaniemi Train Station, this hotel offers free access to a traditional Finnish sauna, a gym and WiFi. Arktikum Science Museum is 1969 feet away. Great central location. Friendly staff. Great selection for breakfast. Breakfast got busy at times but manageable. Lovely quiet rooms. Nice and warm. Rooms were compact but more than enough for a base. They were great at putting our 2 rooms together.

Located in the picturesque northern nature, Santasport Resort is located close to Ounasvaara Ski Resort and only 1.2 mi from Rovaniemi city center. We only managed to stay one night but it was fantastic lovely room very quiet and comfortable
