Hotel Carlos 96 is a small family-run business where the owners and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I needed my luggage to be sent to the accommodation on the camino which was located 20 minutes by car from the hotel. Even though I was late for the official luggage pick up, the owner himself agreed to help me find the cheapest way of transportation and they he would make sure that my luggage would get there. After I returned from my breakfast and coffee, he told me that he managed to send my backpack with a transportations service which only cost me 4€. He could have easily sen it via taxi for 18€ since I would have been the one paying anyways, but he personally attended to the matter and found the best solution for me. Also I must mention that the owner brothers were brought up in London and hence speak impeccable English which makes it very easy for foreign travelers to check-in and get assistance with all their needs. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for an affordable stay in Melide!

The building is historical, so it inherently has its charm. The staff was friendly and polite. Loved my stay at Entrecercas.
