One of the most excellent properties I’ve stayed in while traveling through Andalusia. Extremely comfortable and clean and incredible value for money.

Super helpful in our arrival, going out of his way to walk us through different hiking routes in the area as well as provide restaurant recommendations. He also made us breakfast which wasn’t even mentioned in the advertisement!

Rooms at Hotel los Bérchules have a terrace offering spectacular views of the Cádiar Valley and Contraviesa Sierra. Wow! Such a fantastic, comfortable, and welcoming hotel! We spent three nights at the end of our three weeks in Spain and would have been happy to stay longer. Mother and daughter, Paula and Megan, are wonderful hosts and a delight to get to know. Make sure to plan for dinner and breakfast there as Megan is an outstanding chef. Our meals were fresh, creative, and so attentively prepared, the best we had on her entire trip. The hotel has super comfy beds and spectacular views and is easy to find with parking on site. Berchules was a charming village to explore and we loved the 25-minute walk down to the river with a place to picnic, read, or wade in the water. We highly recommend this hotel. On a side note, the drive to Berchules is an epic drive on a comfortably winding 2 lane road. Plan to give yourself plenty of time to savor the views and photo opportunities.

Fermina, Sonia y Mina are wonderful hostesses! I felt very welcome and well looked after by them. Their food is yummy. They even lent me a backpack to do a day hike more comfortably. The hostel is brand new and they keep it beautiful and clean. Nice and quiet at night, conveniently central for taking the bus to and from Granada. I miss Trevélez and la Alpujarra very much, it’s a very special place.

A perfect place to spend a few days of peaceful, Andalusian bliss in La Alpujarra. An enormous bed in a spacious apartment. Our lodging looked out over the valley, pool, terrace, and solarium which we especially enjoyed. Hosts were friendly and offered us a delightful treat. We look forward to returning.
We liked everything about this place including that they have parking but we didn't need it because there was parking right in front of the hotel! The breakfast was good and they maker their own churros batter on site! The hotel lobby was decorated for Halloween which we all found fabulous! The gardens were lovely and the hotel is fabulously situated in the middle of the town. Everything was walkable. I would love to go back in the summer to use their fabulous pool overlooking the mountains!

Wow! Our three night stay at the beautiful self catering property in rural Valor was wonderful. Spotlessly clean, the lovely self-catering house had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. What's special here? - Stunning views of the miles and miles of the mesmerising Sierra Nevada. - A gorgeous swimming pool. A good size with a personal feel. - Fresh figs on the trees which Manuel allowed us to pluck and eat. - Quiet and secluded with a lovely outdoor dining/bbq area in addition to your own private balcony. - Secure parking and direct access to your property with your car to make life easier. We got lost on our way to the accommodation and Jose was quick to respond to my whatsapps and helped us. From there, check in was very easy and friendly. He showed us everything and made us feel welcome. The walk to our cottage was a little steep but you get distracted by all the beautiful flowers and fruit trees. Each cottage has a little private garden with a beautiful view and BBQ area. We used the BBQ and it worked well. Inside there was a fire place but we didn't bring logs! No worries, we just sent a quick whatsapp at 10 euros later had a huge crate worth. Your'e also close to the local Coviran (a shop) and garage which were open even over the Semana Santa holidays. Pep the hotel dog was an additional treat. If you're a dog person, then this is the place to be. Our 5 year old son loved it too. Oh and did we mention the central heating?

We were in one of the little country cottages just outside Órgiva. It was very peaceful, the garden is beautiful with ancient olive & fruit trees. The scenery was lovely, with mountain views and the pool was great for swimming. A really enjoyable few days. Grácias, Antonio!
