First of all the location is incredible, it's not in Baños, you need to pay ~$3 for a taxi to take you to Ulba and then up the hill, or 50 cents to Ulba then walk 10min up. With that said the hostel is perched half way up a hill surrounded by 3 spectacular waterfalls (where you could do canyoning/abseiling as a 2h activity). The view and the ambience is so serene I wish I could have stayed for a month as a retreat! Secondly the amenities are super special, which other hostel has a full length pool and a steaming hot jacuzzi? As well as a beautiful social area with a super nice movies corner, fully equipped with Netflix, Amazon Primevideo and Disney+! There is also a nice bar, and a fully equipped kitchen. Finally the group of Argentinians operating the place are just starting up, building something wonderful. Full kudos and support to them. Hope everyone can enjoy the special beauty of Mama Tungu and relax for a few days in this stunning environment!
