A gorgeous bnb located on a hill overlooking Salento town. It is just a few yards walking to restaurants. Calle Real is a few minutes walk. Salento is a beautiful but very small town. The hotel is a colonial old style building with much dark wood finishing but is very stylish. Our room was upstairs on the corner of the building with superb views over the town and to the mountains. Two balconies and large windows so very light. Comfy bed, good shower, excellent breakfast. The young chap Leider who was there during the day is very friendly and helpful. He speaks excellent English too. There are excellent hikes in the area, and the downhill cycle with Eduardo of Cycle Salento was great fun. Walk to the mirador at the top of the hill when you leave the hotel early morning for great views of the Quindío valley. Good birds to be seen too.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ecohotel Alma We can look back on a fantastic time in the beautiful “Alma Resort” with its beautifully landscaped garden and a wonderful family who gave us a warm welcome and made our stay a wonderful experience. -Very friendly and attentive staff -we had a spacious 2-bed room with a fan (there are different rooms) -The beds are very comfortable - we slept so well -We really liked the bathroom w/outdoor shower -the location is very quiet (despite the nearby street) -very good breakfast, great coffee, everything fresh (partly. from own garden or surrounding area) -Simple menu for dinner – but very tasty (preferably fish in aluminum foil ;-) -located in a lovely, safe area in the countryside -There are also other restaurants nearby (take a taxi) -a very fair price-performance ratio -Wifi worked perfectly -We even managed to reach Alma by public bus and taxi for the last mile** **We are grateful that we found EcoHotel Alma. They also helped us to organise a visit at Finca Don Leo (organic coffee farm) and at nearby botanical garden with a Columbian's biggest palm collection and a papiliorama (butterfly house). From Salento we went to the thermal bath and waterfall at Santa Rosa, we hiked 11 km in the Cocora Valley (to the humming birds and climb to the mirador), we went to Parque del Cafe which is really awesome amusement park in a beautiful area. We also went swimming in the river if Quindio.
Armenia and the coffee country can easily be a three day excursion; we stayed only one night in a hotel on our way to Cali from Bogota. In the past, we have stayed in fincas or haciendas for a more relaxing country feel. Cafe Quindio, in town, is highly recommended.
The hotel location is great...very central with a Cafe Quindio across the street, a number of restaurants within walking distance, a grocery store close by and a shopping mall one block away. The desk staff were responsive and professional and dining room staff (when you could find them) were pleasant and helpful. The pool was clean (but very cold!). The bathroom was clean and well stocked with toilet paper. The room had a mini fridge which is always appreciated. Indoor parking was provided free of charge.
- The breakfast was a very traditional Colombian breakfast. The only international element were the pancakes. Nevertheless the breakfast was very tasteful. - The rooftop pool and jacuzzi were excellent and despite the pandemic in working condition (maximum of 5 persons allowed). - great big rooms with in-room minibar. - wifi signal was excellent in the room - The hotel is near Cafe Quindio and from walking distance from el Portal del Quindio (Shopping mall)
The property has one of the best so far internet connectivity by fiber optics, I enjoyed the breakfast prepared by single order by the friendly kitchen staff , and last but not least the location around the Colombian mountains gives you a stay of connection with nature, birds, horses and such. I will return on the later future to this lovely place to rest , relax, be connected to the world and visit the wonderful town of Salento in Quindio , Colombia.
A beautiful, peaceful hotel where the staff are very friendly and professional. We have stayed in many different hotels around Quindio and this was one of our favourites. No loud music, good food and nice atmosphere. The staff left out marshmallows to roast on a small fire at night time, which I thought was such a nice touch! Lots of birds around the hotel and very close to visit parque del cafe.
Location is amazing, between Salento and Valle de Cocora, in a beautiful farm and with Quindio River as part of the gorgeous landscape. It is perfect to relax, meditate and enjoy life!

We were not sure at first with all the antique collections we would like it, but we gave it a try and have no regrets. Everything was supper clean and it was interesting to investigate every little detail. The pool and all the amenities are great for kids and a very tranquil. Staff, specifically the manager was awesome.
The location is amazing, there is a lot of activities and animations across the day. There is a variety of food so will always find something to eat. Room very comfortable, very friendly staff.
