Absolutely a delightful experience staying at the York Luxury Suites Hotel. I spent four days at the place - remote work plus vacation and enjoyed every minute of my stay. The staff is super nice and makes sure to attend to your ask. The guest experience manager is a sweetheart. The hotel seems to be run by passionate hoteliers who take pride in offering an out of box experience and quality to their patrons. I had a memorable time and I will definitely be back. The restaurant in the hotel is just another level of experience. Open and covered patio style surrounded with exotic plants. The food is so tasty. The presentation is beyond expectation really. Breakfast was my favorite of all as it offered a variety of Colombian tropical fruits. The hotel’s modern architecture is so tastefully done. The lobby lounge is amazing and very cozy if you wanna spend time chilling or working on your laptop. As for Medellin, what a hidden gem. Three words- Magical, Majestical , and Tropical. The modern designs and architecture in the city will blow your mind.

Hotel & Golf Isak Aeropuerto is located in Rionegro and features a garden. The hotel provides a terrace, a 24-hour front desk, free WiFi is available, and free coffee. I have been traveling for many years and the most important thing for me is thoughtfulness to the smallest detail. Host organaised a free transfer from the airport and to the airport super quickly. They helped to print all the papers that were needed for further travel and did't charge us anything. We accidentally made a reservation from May 12 to May 13, and arrived on May 11 and they went to meet us and settled us - it's fine. The hotel is a garden of eden, hummingbirds and blue birds fly here, imagine, you live near the airport, next to the road, but you don't hear cars, you hear birds singing, everything is green, blooming! The rooms are small houses with panoramic windows, a table on the balcony - love at first sight. New, cozy, clean. Sockets by the bed, a sticker with a Wi-Fi password on the bedside shelf, a comfortable mattress, a warm fluffy new plaid, snow-white towels, hangers for clothes. Teapot, glasses, cookies, coffee, tea, sugar, water - simple little things that should be everywhere, but the owners often do not think about it. Here we were flying from another city, arrived after the plane and of course we are tired and want to drink coffee, you can do it without leaving your room. The bathroom is small, clean, has everything you need and hot water (happiness after Santa Marta). Within a 5-minute walk there is a restaurant, a pharmacy, a supermarket and a workshop for working with wood - look there, there are incredibly beautiful products. We really liked it, if we come to Medelin again, we will definitely stay here.

You can't miss Plaza Botero and Botero Museum (it's on the square)!! Remember to spend one day for a trip to Guatape and el Penol de Guatape (really worth climb all the 675 steps). Nice to see Santafe de Antioquia (have some GREAT bandeja paisa on the way)!
Between buildings and hills covered with vegetation, Medellin has a wonderful landscape and natural beauty. The people are another great aspect o the cultural exchange. Warm, helpful and friendly. Always willing to help. The traffic can be heavy during the day, so it's good to plan ahead your tours. The subway is a good mode to move to the different sightseeings of the city, such as Plaza Botero, Antioquia Museum, palace of culture etc The Poblado area is very good for its options in hotels and nightlife at Parque Lleras. To eat very well and taste local cuisine you don't need to spend much in overrated restaurants. Try the local small places that serve Plato Ejecutivo, close enough to everyday food, homemade taste.
Medellin is simply fantastic. A modern architecture with the best weather you could ask for. Restaurant 'El Cielo' is an explotion of flavors in your mouth, perfect for a romantic escape with your couple. 'El Suroeste' of Antioquia, just a couple of hours from Medellin, offers a superp landscape. Rent a 'finca' there, you'll be amazed.
The city has a very friendly atmosphere and feels more relaxed than Bogota and Cali. The weather is practically perfect. We spent the evenings in the El Poblado district, with its great restaurants and nightlife. During the day we took the metro to places like downtown and Parque Arvi. Highlights were the Botero paintings and statues in the Museo de Antioquia and the Metrocable.

Medellín is a beautiful and dynamic city. The sweeping views of the valley from the cable cars were a highlight of my trip and a definitely "must-do" in Medellín. I also recommend Museo Antioquia for the Fernando Botero exhibit and the graffiti tours of Communa 13. Be sure to allow at least 4 hours if you are going to visit Parque Explora, Medellín's version of the Exploratorium in San Francisco.
Medellin is a treasure, the city of the eternal spring offers you a lot and its safe. From the astonishing Botero museum or the Castillo and the University of Antioquia, the city Is full of nature like an Italian garden. People are extremely nice and genuine. I believe that barrio Laureles or barrio Conquistadores are the best spots to stay. The most celebrated Poblado is too crowded and sometimes expensive for no reason. Medellin worth really a nice vacation or few months to enjoy and experience the Paisa culture.
Jardin is considered the most beautiful town of Antioquia.... And is true... people are friendly and stoning balconies with flowers, breathless landscape, just the right place to enjoy outdoors activities.... Cafe de Los Andes is highly recommended to enjoy the Colombian coffee...
Amazing location. Your between Rio negro and El Carmen. A few minutes in each direction and your in the center of each town. Very relaxing stay. Beautiful hotel. Everything is brand new. The views of the gardens are all around you. Gated access makes for amazing security. Easy location to find, just across from the university of antioquia (east campus). The staff very friendly and helpful. We are definitely staying here again
I never thought a place like this could exist in Colombia. It is not only the hotel but its surroundings, I felt as if I was in one of the books by Garcia Márquez. Andrés Restrepo, its owner, is a wise, kind and generous man who will share with you information so you can travel around the area. Quite close to Jericó, Ciudad Bolivar, Hispania, Jardin and Santa Fe de Antioquia.
The location is about 15 minutes ride from the International Airport José María Córdova to the "Finca Hotel Zona Franca" in Rionegro, Antioquia, Colombia. Also, the location gives you a "FINCA" (Ranch or Farmhouse) countryside panoramic view. The small hills surrounding the location gives you the sensation to be in a vast countryside area.
Our visit to Hotel Santa Barbara Colonial in Santa Fe de Antioquia was remarkable. The hotel's colonial charm, coupled with modern comforts, provided a perfect romantic setting. Its central location allowed easy exploration of the city’s rich history and culture. The rooms radiated a blend of elegance and comfort, offering a tranquil escape.
This was a gem. Big room, excellent chefs in the restaurant, great view of the surrounding hills from the roof terrace and just five minutes from the Prado metro station. Plaza Botero and the splendid Museo de Antioquia are a short walk away. It was a real bargain - £96 for four nights.
We liked the comfortable bed, different pillows and overall cleanliness of the place. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. On-site garage was great and location was convenient. Jericó is one of the most important historic towns of Antioquia; worth visiting.
This place is cheap and blissfully quiet during the week. I suspect most hotels in Santa Fe de Antioquia are like this. On weekends crowds arrive from Medellin, and it can be noisy.

It was fantastic! Beautiful property, they've got a pool, jacuzzi, a dock with boats that you can rent, a beach at the lake, its right across the street from El Peñol Rock. Staff was very attentive and kind. I'm definitely coming back. Breakfast was great too!
We spent an exceptionally beautiful time at Levit Glamping and recommend staying here 100%! From the very first second we were just amazed by the beauty of this place. The location is spectacular: Directly by the lake and super calm and private with no other buildings around - only stunning nature. Because of the silence you’re able to hear (and watch) all the birds and completely relax. The place itself is super cute and you can feel the love they put into it. All the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive - the whole time we felt welcomed and well cared for in a very genuine way. During movie night they even surprised us with popcorn which was adorable. The bathroom was clean and modern plus the shower had a very good water pressure. Another big plus were the three adorable dogs which made us feel super safe at night. :) The place also offers activities like educational walks through the forest and you can use their kayaks anytime during the day, which we sadly didn’t have any time for since we only stayed one night. Next time we’re gonna try and come back for longer. Definitely stay here if you want to be able to enjoy a beautiful, relaxing time away from everything!
