The family-run Pension de la Poste was renovated in summer 2017 and is located in quiet surroundings in the Valais village of Zinal, 656 feet from the Sorebois Ski Elevator, and offers you Swiss... Of all the places we stayed in Switzerland this had the best value -- stayed two nights here, great service, great food, great central location right in the middle of Zinal, easy check in, nothing bad to say about the place. Also helped us out a great deal with laundry service. Would stay here again no question do NOT miss the side trip to Grimentz up the valley.

The location is great, making the best spots in the valley easily reachable with public transportation. Definitely worth it and will surely come back :)

This is a lovely hotel in an excellent location, with good-sized, comfortable rooms and in our room a very large balcony with an outstanding view to the Besso and the Pointe de Zinal. It is nicely located, not too near or far from the village centre. Cleanliness was excellent throughout the hotel, and our room was cleaned every day during our five-night stay. The staff were efficient and helpful. Breakfast was excellent every day, and the meal we had on our first evening was also very good. A wonderful stay, and we would love to return!

Chandolin Boutique Hotel is set at 2,000-yard altitude on one of Europe's highest inhabited villages. We loved the breath taking mountain views from every window, the sunny après-ski outside terrace and meals in the restaurant. The spa treatments were also very relaxing. Spectacular area, lovely slopes and snow shoe tracks...a wonderful stay all round. We will be back.

We stopped for a night in Zinal on a hike around the Val d’Anniviers. After a good day’s walk, the welcome at the Pension de la Poste was just what we needed. A nice clean comfortable room and a bathroom with a great hot shower. We had a good meal at the cosy restaurant. The hotel serves a very good breakfast. Juliette runs the Pension with a smile and provides helpful advice.

Zinal is a lovely town, and Pointe de Zinal a delightful hotel. We had a lovely comfy room, an enjoyable drink on the terrace followed by an excellent dinner in the restaurant. A great breakfast too - and hikers are very appreciative of a good breakfast!

This was a one-night stay in what could be termed as a mountain refuge rather than a hotel. Well organised, with good facilities. Pleasant room; separate, communal shower room. Services (food and drinks; self-service) close at 5 pm in low season. Friendly staff: the very helpful and smiling young lady in charge of the establishment briefed us on modalities and arrangements. Evening dinner (to be heated in microwave) and breakfast were good. Lovely terrace with beautiful view on the mountains and valley.
