Built in 1633, Landgasthof Tännler is a country-style hotel located in the quiet village of Wyler, at the foot of Sustenpass. The property offers great views of surrounding Alpine landscape. Very warm and welcoming people working at this hotel, especially the owners. The view is fantastic, the room is cosy and comfortable, and the food is delicious. I definitely recommend this!

The Chef makes her own yogurt and jellies/jams, applesauce- all delicious!! The staff were all super friendly. The owner stopped by our table every morning at breakfast to ask how we are doing. He is very gregarious and kind!

Ferienwohnung Gästehaus Fürlauwi enjoys a quiet location 4429 feet above sea level in the tranquil Meien Valley. We were hosted by the most kind and helpful people I have met over the year travelling. Stuck in snow unable to reach the accommodation we were rescued by Felix. The apartment was great and my family enjoyed the place. The place is very thoughtfully designed and managed. Wish we stayed longer than one night.

It is placed near to the Gotthardtunnel and the Sustenpass. Within 1 minute you are in the highway A2 again. The hotel itself is basic, but fine. Free car parking for guests, clean (shared) bathroom and ok breakfast.

This might be one of the best stays ever, I made the reservations as it seems to appear several times when I did search for a property near Meiringen. It seemed everybody was so enthusiastic so made the booking. Wow, already when we arrived the surrounding is so amazing beautiful, the room has a lot of windows to just enjoy the view. We sat outside on the beautiful porch enjoying the million of stars. There is a free espresso machine near the lobby, a water heater for hot drinks, they sell some beers too. The place is soo clean, it seemed we where the only people there but it was full. You can use the washing machine and dryer. There is a beautiful garden around the property as it was once the school of the village. There is also a lot of parking spots in front of the place. Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful. The owners are so friendly, so helpful, just perfect.
homely environment, land lady Helena was so accommodating. meet & clean cottage for a family. swings for kids available at the property. the location is absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend. Note: last 10 minutes of Road to the property is quite narrow, I would strongly recommend to leave enough time to reach to the property in a day light. the last 10 minutes of Road is very scary in the dark.
For the free of spirit. This is not your "normal" location which we enjoyed very much. It looks like a Swiss farmhouse and has a lot of atmosphere. We slept in a cabin in the field. The beds were perfect. Unfortunately it was not a clear night so we could not stargaze. Lots of space and the hostess had an "everything is possible" attitude. Very warm welcome by the hostess. Nature and culture are important here. Made a personal connection which I like. She had lots of tips about the area. Will comeback when I visit the area.
