The Schöntal hotel enjoys a central location in Filisur at the UNESCO-protected Albula Train Line. It offers simple yet nicely furnished rooms, free Wi-Fi in all rooms and free private parking. I thought it’s only 300m away or something from the filisur station but it’s a bit further, maybe because there are slopes along the way and I have my luggage with me so I had a little hard time. But I still enjoyed my stay because the place is cozy and near from my target to visit which is the landwasser viaduct. The girl from the reception even thought me how to go there efficiently. 🙂

Located in the center of Berguen, Hotel Weisses Kreuz Bergün is only 984 feet from the station of the Albula Railway Line. Comfortable unfussy accommodation in a beautiful old hotel. Decor is a little dated but spotlessly clean. Manager very kindly welcomed us and walked us to our room. Our room had a STUNNING view of the mountains, which we very much appreciated.

The house is on the mountain with beautiful Mountain View. It’s a bit tricky to drive by car for the first time. People are very nice and friendly. Everything is perfect and worth the money. We hope we could come again in the future!

The Hotel Preda Kulm is located in a charming valley about 110 yards from the Preda stop of the Rhaetian Train line, close to the Albula pass above Bergün. I stayed for a weekend in September 2023. What an excellent location for a hiking base after a nice comfortable sleep. Trails right across the tracks, both directions, left or right, were beautiful hikes., right in front of a new train station soon to open. The most memorable part was the food. I was lucky to order from the Wild menus both nights, still thinking it was one of the top restaurants I ate at during five weeks in Europe. Wow! Great location, incredible food
