The property is in a scenic, very quiet, peaceful location. It was easy to find. We liked the small number of guests which made it feel intimate and easy to meet people. It felt very safe. It was close to the village and easy to access the local market which had good quality food options. The room was very comfortable and everywhere was super clean. He food options are very varied and the kitchen is equipped with everything needed.

Located 5 mi from Tadoussac, Auberge La Tanière offers rooms with private bathrooms and WiFi access. Fishing, hiking, swimming, kayaking, diving and wildlife observation are among on-site activities. The Auberge is in a beautiful location. Set in their own extensive piece of wilderness next to a lake. We’d booked 2 rooms in the lodge but were offered a chalet in arrival (it wasn’t compulsory - we got to look at both options before deciding). The chalet had cooking facilities and space for family time. The owners were incredibly helpful and took us for a quad bike tour of the area to see beaver dams and to look for other wildlife (unfortunately we didn’t see any although there was evidence of moose footprints in the mud). It’s very well located for exploring the Tadoussac region.

Hotel du Fjord is located in downtown Chicoutimi. It serves a buffet-style continental breakfast every morning. The rooms have soundproof walls and flat-screen cable TV. Heigh level hotel. Very good value for money. In short walk to a nice promenade, city center and the old city.

Hôtel Sous la Croix is located in Tadoussac, 5 minutes' walk from the village center and features panoramic views of St. Lawrence River. Friendly staff, great location (on top of hill, just off highway), but quiet. Clean, well kept, and the town and immediate neighborhood are beautiful.
