I loved the room with all its coziness and outdoor deck with blankies. I so appreciated all the comfort from the owners as well. I was grieving and they took their personal time to acknowledge that and comfort and pray for me. I shall be forever grateful. Thx ever so much.

Located in Coal Harbour, 14 miles from Port Hardy Ferry Terminal, The Oceanfront Inn on Stephens Bay has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and water sports facilities. Exceptional hospitality at the Inn. Stephen and Michelle are delightful and run the guest house to the highest standards. They could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was exceptional as others have written and the Inn has every comfort. We took out a double kayak for a paddle down the bay which was so peaceful and saw seals and nesting eagles.

Nimpkish Hotel is located on the beachfront in Alert Bay, Cormorant Island. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Pemba did her utmost to welcome us and make us feel at home. She cooked us a delicious, healthy gluten free porridge for breakfast and made us wonderful Indian food for supper, like prawn curry and butter chicken, as well as fresh local salmon. She gave us knowledgeable advise about the island, and a very special send-off the evening before we left. We felt very pampered! There are comfortable seating areas, inside and out, overlooking the bay. The hotel is not far from the pub, which has live local entertainment to join in on on Saturday night. A memorable experience.

Seine Boat Inn offers accommodations in Alert Bay, on Cormorant Island. A scenic ferry ride takes guests to the property. Rooms include a flat-screen TV. It was exquisite….beautiful view…tranquil and real escapism….going back in time. Terrylynn was delightful and offers a personal touch. Good local store selling everything. Locals very welcoming. 206 was the best!

This Port McNeill accommodations is located on 26 acres and features a Disc Golfing Course. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are provided. Lower Nimpkish River Provincial Park is 9.3 mi away. Everything! Lisa is a great host - she gives you a card with her cell number when she welcomes you so you have the option to text her if you need anything. The cabin's bed and shower were luxurious; the kitchen was spotless, well laid out and well equipped; the space was perfectly designed for a couple with lovely little design touches. The bed is so comfortable we asked about the brand so we can look at purchasing one for home (Lisa answered promptly and said she gets that question from lots of guests). Some particular highlights are the covered deck with Adirondack-style chairs and glass panels to keep the view of the ocean; the BBQ; the tap water (cold and pure); the fridge with a separate compartment freezer; gas/propane burners in the kitchen; and the shelf system in the bedroom. Finally, the location is fantastic - you're close enough to town to make it a quick trip, but far enough away that you get serenaded by frogs if you're out in the evening (a rural treat).
