The newly remodeled Kyah is a renovated motel, set on two acres of beautifully landscaped gardens in a quiet backstreet in the Blue Mountains' bohemian Blackheath. This property is fantastic! They pay attention to all the little details. The bed and pillows very comfortable. Very thick large towels. Nice snack/ tea room. Wonderful breakfast and restaurant for dinner. Chickens and wonderful garden to walk through on site. Fantastic greenhouse space for games and cocktails. Hot tub is great. My list could go on an on but mostly it’s the staff that makes this place sooo great!

Hotel in Katoomba
656 feet from Katoomba Train Station, The Carrington offers elegant accommodations in a heritage-listed refurbished manor. Our two days in the Blue Mountains unfortunately fell victim to the Northeaster coming in - visibility was less than 100m, sometimes even the other side of the street seemed foggy and it rained cats and dogs. So we were very happy about this cozy hotel! It is historic and well-preserved (but of course with all modern amenities you need in the rooms). Fun to explore the different rooms, there's a nice bar and somewhere they have hidden away a brewery it seems. Oh, and the dining room... Great - had a good breakfast there (we had enjoyed dinner in the other brewery in town). The room was a bit smaller than expected, but for one night it was ok. It was quiet and we slept very well. There is a new parking garage next to the hotel - only disadvantage is, that you are exposed to the elements when you walk over there.

Katoomba
Everything! Ross was so helpful - pointing out good trails, giving local tips, and even taking some of us to see the sunset. Not to mention all the cool ppl at this hostel and the nice campfire socials! We ended up going on a hike together as well. My favorite hostel experience in AU. I was debating this and YHA for the Blue mountains - I would definitely return to this place. Stayed for a few nights (I think 4?) and regretted not staying longer. The hostel is close to the Katoomba train station and grocery marts.
The Archibald Hotel was one of the best places I stayed in whilst in Australia. I visited the Blue Mountains in early March and stayed a night at the Archibald on my way out of the Blue Mountains. The place was as expected. A comfortable bed and room above the bar, with free parking. Staff were cracking - friendly and helpful throughout. Genuinely if I'm ever that way again, I will be stopping in as you couldn't argue with the customer service.
Hotel Blue provided a good value stay in the Blue Mountains, and I d stay again. The rooms were as described - very clean and comfortable. The included continental breakfast was generous with lots of choice. comfy beds, nice towels and good showers. Reception staff were really helpful There is a nice new RSL next door for dinner and drinks. Within walking distance of some Blue Mountains tourist spots and trails

The location is great with Aldi's and Woolworths close by as well as many cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. There is a fridge, kettle, microwave and plates and cutlery provided so you can make your own breakfast in the room. There was also a cafe open on site for good basic meals from 9-4.
Katoomba
Really simple check in process. Didn't have to pay a damage deposit, communication from hotel was A+. Notified about the door being unlocked and keys left in room for me to check in anytime once notified by hotel. Shower fantastic, hot and good pressure. Fantastic WIFI. Bed very comfortable. Right next door to the main attraction, Blue Mountains.
The hotel is in a great location for exploring the Blue mountains.. the property is extremely comfortable and staff are excellent. Lovely large bedrooms unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best so didn’t get to sit by their outside pool. Great indoor pool and hotel opposite has wonderful views for lunch or dinner.. a little bit golf club vibe but way nicer
