The most unbelievable hotel I've stayed at!! We were blown away with the beautiful design, views, and amenities at The Comodo. We especially loved the restaurant and the extra such as yoga classes, movie nights, and sauna/pool. You can take a €15-20 10-minute taxi from the Bad Gastein train station or walk along a beautiful walking path for about 30 minutes. So many things to do around the hotel in every season!

We were absolutely delighted with our choice of hotel in Bad Hofgastein. The location was perfect to get around and meet other family members who are staying in the town in various locations. From the minute we walked through the door of the hotel we were greeted by the owner Katharina and welcomed. The rooms were spotless and beautifully and simply decorated. The bathroom and overhead rainshower was super !The bed was exceptionally comfortable and I honestly can’t fault one single thing. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the front of the hotel terrace where we sat in the mornings to have our breakfast. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious and the kitchen cooked us lovely eggs to perfection. The hotel has two lovely dining rooms as well as the bar and lounge to relax in and although we didn’t have time to use these facilities they looked lovely and cosy. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone at the hotel. It has the feeling of being home from home and the owner has an exceptionally caring attitude to her guests. I cannot wait to visit and stay at the Storks hotel again

We stayed at house Nefer for two nights during the off season (october) and enjoyed our stay very much. The hosts Andreas and Edda welcomed us with open arms and treated us like friends rather than guests. Andreas took time to explain activities and locations for us and even checked for open restaurants and possible routes for walking or other possible activities. Andreas and Edda spent an evening with us in the wine cellar explaining and drinking different wines with us and having a good conversation with us about the history of the House which belonged to the german actor Georg Thomalla and his wife before they bought it. The location of this house is perfect and only a few minutes from the city center. We arrived by train and walking there from the train station only takes about 10-15 minutes depending on the route. The house has a beautiful interior with interesting designer furniture and accessories everywhere you look. Our double room was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen and dining area, which can be used by guests is very spacious and has everything you need, including a fridge for guests. The breakfast prepared by Edda had everything you can wish for and was prepared for exactly the time we wanted to get up. The whirlpool which we could use even late at night was clean and a lovely experience. Andreas and Edda provide a very welcoming atmosphere and we wish them the very best for their future.

Only 50 metres from the Mühlwinkel Ski Lift, Landhotel Untermüllnergut in Dorfgastein offers a restaurant, free WiFi, and free use of its spa area. Guided hikes are offered in summer. Excellent location, beautiful lodging!!! Amazing meals, so beautifully presented! A most inviting atmosphere! The host family makes all of this an exceptional stay! They are so kind and generous!

Das Goldberg er staðsett í hlíð fyrir ofan Bad Hofgastein, beint í skíðabrekku á Schlossalm-skíðasvæðinu. Það býður upp á glæsileg herbergi með ókeypis Wi-Fi Interneti og svölum. Breakfast was very fine. Swimming pool and SPA was extraordinary! Friendly staff. Room and beds were also high standard. We liked it a lot. One of those places we would like to visit again.

Edith and Silvia are lovely hosts, very hospitable, making you feel like at home. One get a family feel once you walk through the door. We could leave our bags already in the morning, before the check-in, and could also store them after the check-out, during the day of our departure. We got breakfast when we arrived in the morning even though it wasn't included in our stay, this was super nice! Breakfast is great. The buffet provides a variety of options. Freshly boiled eggs are also served! Best location in Bad Gastein, just opposite the cable car and the train station. Super convenient.

Just a 3-minute walk from Bad Hofgastein’s centre, this 4-star superior hotel offers a large wellness area and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Everything was excellent. The owners and staff were very friendly. The rooms were large, clean, with balconies, and equipped with all facilities. The atmosphere was warm, and the service was outstanding
