The location was great! Within 10 minutes of West Glacier. Little fun to get to with the woods and isolation of the place. I liked that it was far enough away from the main road that you weren’t hearing cars all night. Raining the last night made it even better.
Paddle Ridge is located just under 1 mile from the west entrance of Glacier National Park. The cottages feature a private stocked trout pond and a full kitchen.

It was so nice to be able to stay in a home for a few days. We enjoyed preparing our own meals in the large kitchen and eating them in the elegant dining room, washing our clothes in the laundry room, the two full bathrooms and bedrooms at opposite ends of the house. Perfect location between both East and West entrances to Glacier NP. Friendly and helpful staff at checkin and checkout was the icing on the cake.
Owners I’ve on and run the inn & Restaurant. Excellent food which not your burger joint menu. Selection for vegan is large as Asian noodle or rice dishes. Easy drive 16 or so miles to the Apgar western entrance to Glacier National Park. I got a flat and the owners helped change the tire and in sorting options. The room was perfect for where you are in the middle of rural Montana.
The room was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities of a chain hotel, but with small town charm. The bedding was amazing! Location is super convenient to the south entrance of Glacier National Park. Restaurant was so convenient after a long day of driving, and the food and staff were great! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
The location is very close to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. I do think the room was overpriced considering there was no breakfast. It would have been better to stay in Whitefish or Kalispell or Columbia Falls where there are a lot more amenities. Inside the park, you could go to Lake McDonald Lodge where they have buffets or Eddie's Cafe or West Glacier Cafe. The room is close to the highway and train tracks so if noise bothers you, it would be better to stay somewhere else.
