When I read the reviews on facility and that it was secure parking that sold me. Being 3 hrs from home and travel with my children alone my spouse and I was strictly looking for security. The location of the hotel was fine, though it was not easy to find the main entrance. The valet parking staff was very good. The sizes of the bedroom and bathroom were generous. Within walking distance to the Country Club Plaza.

This is a lovely old apartment building that's been updated to hotel nicely; the room was spacious with big windows and lots of them. Nice big windows in the bathroom even. It may be one of my favorite hotels ever. Location was great; just on the edge of Country Club Plaza so that was all within walking distance. There's a pretty park right across the road.
The house was within walking distance to Country Club Plaza and very clean safe area! We love it! We walked daily to the Plaza and one evening to The Monarch bar, which was only 3 blocks away!
The location of this property was great! Right at the top of country club plaza and within a short walk to the Kansas City Art Institute where I was dropping off my daughter for the summer. My first night in Kansas City I had a very bad experience at another hotel in town so it was a welcome relief to find this property on Booking.com and come to a beautiful historic builing, with comfy beds and and close to restaurants. (*pic is the milk closets that are a historical part of the property)
The room was very clean. The staff was great! Fresh coffee and citrus water was available in the lobby throughout the day. Great location in Country Club Plaza.
I loved the self-serve coffee bar and the location was ideal! I was close to the Country Club Plaza, the Nelson-Atkins Museum, shopping and restaurants.
