The location of the property is exceptional especially the view of the harbour from the room. It's close proximity to the night market. Most importantly, the hospitality offered by the staff and Ms. Chen at reception. The tea tasting session offered by the hotel. Speak to the hotel and they can get you taxi services for exploring the local hotspot with very good, friendly and professional drivers. Next time I'm in sun moon lake, I'll rebook at this property
I love the location! I’ve been to Sun Moon Lake 3 times and all three I stayed at this hotel. It’s near the dock where you can easily access and walk the trail along the lake. The views are stunning and the hotel is very clean and well maintained. I also enjoy the huge variety of breakfast options.
The staff at this hotel are amazing. Our hostess gave us great advice for visiting the main attractions and Wayne, our host, must be an institution at Sun Moon lake as every morning he takes guests to a beautiful short cycling tour. We truly appreciated their commitment and the guidance they provided. Breakfast was authentic and good. The central location was easy to find and easy to reach.

It is located a 10-15 min bus ride from Sun Moon Lake and the staff can organise transport to the bus stop so you can get the bus to Sun Moon Lake.
Its maybe a 5-10 min walk into Yuchi not many shops etc around the hotel

Breakfast ..... not many western options (none) and some of the locals didn't seemed overly impressed
It’s very quiet. We heard birds singing all the time. The accommodation is so clean and very beautiful. We love the well balanced breakfast that were offered by the property. It’s less than ten minutes walk from the bus depot. From the bus depot we can catch buses to Taichung, Taipei and local areas. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. The dock is by the bus depot where you can catch boats for touring the magnificent Sun Moon Lake. Highly recommend this hotel for staying at Sun Moon Lake. We will definitely come and stay here again.
The owner was very friendly and nice. She helped us with our luggage to get to her property, simple check in. The home hotel is in a very nice location, convenient to the Sun moon lake, the bus station, and places to eat.
The breakfast was a 100 NTD for self picking up food in a 7-11 store.
This property was a good value and a nice space near Sun Moon Lake. We loved the big window beside the bed. The staff were really helpful to share with us things to do, but it was a little bit of a walk from the lobby to the rooms. We liked the breakfast in the morning. We appreciated that we could buy tickets for attractions at a discounted rate at the hostel.
Big comfy room overlooking Sun Moon Lake. Take rooms with view to the lake, sitting on the balcony and listening to nature sounds is wonderful. The hotel is a bit dated, was probably amazing a few years back. Still it is a great experience, our toddler enjoyed the tatami room a lot, and also the nice breakfast.
This B&B is a ten minute walk from Ita Thau, at Sun Moon Lake. We rented the standalone unit. It looks like a garage that has been converted into an apartment. It was spacious, with an upstairs loft with 2 beds, and a downstairs living room, kitchen, and bathroom. The air conditioning, wifi and cable televisions (one upstairs and one downstairs) all worked well.
