we had a room with fjord view - it was great. the hotel is not cheap but worth the money. staff is very nice. location by the information center and the waterfall is great. breakfast is amazing. A la carte dinner is great and not expensive. a nice museum of old cars. a great hotel.

We paid for a Fjord view room and were very happy with our 9th floor room with a good view of the Fjord. It had a balcony with two chairs so we were able to relax and look out at the view. Breakfast was ok but a fairly factory affair due to the size of the hotel. The town is tiny and you will have no problem walking from the port. We found that entering from the road was easiest, otherwise you need to enter through some gift shop on the front side of that lower building.
