Unique room and very spacious. I liked the bedding. Front staff was very friendly and welcoming. Location was great for our plans and we had a very nice view of the bridges/city.

Great location, with easy access to the train station and cruise port. Tree lined street and easy walking to explore. Excellent staff and breakfast was very tasty and well prepared. Clearly not out of a package as is common in Canada.

This was my first time staying at a CitizenM, and it truly exceeded my expectations with how smooth the check-in process was, the hotel amenities, and the cleanliness of the rooms were top-notch. I especially liked the swapfiets bikes that the hotel provided for guests to use free of charge and that made the overall experience very pleasant.

The perfect location - near lots of shops and restaurants, and just steps from many of the main tourist attractions such as Laurenskerk, the Markthal and famous cube houses. The room was very comfortable and clean, and it was very quiet at night for sleeping. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Also the hotel has a beautiful rooftop bar/breakfast area with indoor and outdoor seating and amazing views. The breakfast brunch had lots of options and the food was very good.

The market was amazing.
The market was amazing. Also, across the platz from the market are the cube apartments. A wonder in themselves. There is one apartment that is open to the public.
Beyond the cube houses from the market is the harbor of Rotterdam, and you might like to take a cruise around the harbor.
Public transportation in Rotterdam can take you just about everywhere and is inexpensive. There is bus, tram, and subway, and you can purchase a ticket for the day that will get you on any and all of them. There also is a train station where you can get trains to other areas in The Netherlands.
Rotterdam is a less expensive place to stay than Amsterdam, and yet has much to see and many different ways to get around.
