The hotel location is excellent, about half a mile from the center in a quiet are on the hill. Is is within a walking distance to good restaurants and cafes (Del Papa and a Greek restaurant across from it), Double Coffee) and Dostyk shopping mall. Excellent trail for walking and running nearby. Cars in the city generally have bad exhaust polluting air, but because the hotel is on a hill with plenty of trees the air quality is better than downtown. Specious room, very new, modern kitchen well supplied with new pans, skillets, plates etc. Very nice staff. Room service and cafe on the premises, which is very conveniet. Breakfast of eggs, sausage porridge, veggies, coffee and tea is included and is good. Additional items are also available on the menu.

The room is spacious and well-equipped with everything you need. The location is excellent, close to many restaurants and markets. The hotel owner is extremely kind and hospitable, eagerly guiding us to must-visit places in Almaty with stunning views. (We absolutely loved Shymbulak!) He even gave us a ride to the cable car ticket entrance and was very attentive throughout our trip.

This is a very nice place in Almaty. Spacious and had all the details we needed for a 2 week stay. Great location - above one grocery store and close to another, cheaper store. Also very convenient for the bus to Shymbulak and sightseeing. They had a cleaner come after our first week - it's a well-maintained apartment. Easy to communicate with the helpful hosts.
Good place for people travelling to Shymbulak to snowbard/to sky or to enjoy fresh mountain air. It is very close distance to mountains and there is regular city bus N12. Overall price is ok.
Perfect place for the solo travelers, who would like to spend a day time at the Shymbulak ski resort and evenings at the city.
Location right in between, 20 minutes by taxi both ways.

I paid for b&b, but there were complimentary dinners almost every day.
Quiet place, however shopping malls are in a 10 minutes walking distance.
Overall good value for money.
Great place, friendly staff, perfect location. A great option when skiing in Shymbulak. They even help organize the return of my ski poles I left behind when I checked out. Would definitely recommend.
