Really nice property. However a really poor experience at the end of our stay spoiled it. Do better ‘The Retreat’.
This hotel offers a free drop-off shuttle service to the neighboring Keflavík International Airport between 04:00 and 10:00. WiFi and private parking are also free.

Blue Lagoon
Only 20 minutes’ drive from Keflavík International Airport, Iceland’s premier geothermal spa is most visitors’ first or last sight of the volcanic island. And what an impression the Blue Lagoon leaves you with. Plonked down in this steamed-up landscape of mineral-rich waters and rejuvenating silica mud, you can’t help but feel you’ve experienced life on another planet.

In Winter there are only 4 hours of light so do visit the lagoon during also by daylight.
The water has 39 celsius degrees and thus is an impressive spot.

I LOVED the Blue Lagoon.
I LOVED the Blue Lagoon. It amuses me that people say it's touristy. Only by Iceland's standards, it was brilliant vs UK standards. Not too many people, a stunning environment, nice shop, nice cafe, nice freebies, nice changing - it's huge so there's room for lots of people.

Very relaxing, just what I need after a long day trip.
Very relaxing, just what I need after a long day trip. Beautiful place. The water is very nice and hot. There's an area that it's like a (waterfalls section), it's great massage for the shoulder, head & back. It's expensive, but it's worth it. I highly recommend it.

Great location if you are planning to hit up the Blue Lagoon. We stayed here our first night in Iceland. We wanted to see the northern lights and got lucky. I recommend this if you have a car, if not, it may be harder getting out to Grindavik.
the luxurious access to the blue lagoon! we had it all to ourselves! instead of going to the public one. the room were specious and the shuttle service to retreat hotel was complementary.
This was our favorite hotel ever, period. Their private Blue Lagoon pools were so beautiful. We were in and out of them all day. The restaurants were all delicious. Moss was super delicious - every course - and also a really fun experience. Not pretentious. And for lunch I recommend the the teriyaki beef carpaccio in the spa restaurant. So good! (And even more fun to have in your bathrobe between swims!)
5 min from blue lagoon and 20 min drive to airport. A beautiful apartment that is cozy and modern. Worth every penny. The owners are kind and let us check in early, left a welcome gift of Iceland chocolate and drinks in refrigerator. Plenty of space, new washer and dryer. There is only 1 apartment so it is quiet and comfy. We will be back!
A large apartment to accommodate our party of 5. It was bigger than we needed but gave us room to spread out at the end of our travels. Had everything we needed! Is close to Blue Lagoon, so a late-night soak and then easy back to apartment. Easy access to food in the area if needed.
Owners were very responsive.
The location and the view are perfect. The room was clean and well equipped. The bathroom was nice too. We had one of our best sleep here. The breakfast was superb. You got premium Blue Lagoon tickets with a free drink. Try out the Hotel's own Blue lagoon, it is not crowded.
The location is perfect for seeing the Northern Lights, it's far from the city lights. The restaurant has delicious food and everyone working at the hotel is friendly and helpful. The free espresso and hot cocoa from the Honesty Bar was nice every morning. The shuttle to and from the Blue Lagoon every hour and discounted airport taxi service is very convenient. The inn is a 10 minute drive from Grindavik and Papa's restaurant will deliver from there. Loved that they provided a wake up call for when the Northern Lights showed up at 3am!
Great location to get to the Blue Lagoon (plus the hotel has its own spa); friendly staff; nice rooms (with heated towel racks in the bathrooms); and some of the best food I had the privilege to eat in Iceland at the hotel's Max's Restaurant! (The grilled lamb filet was the best I ever had!)
Very clean hotel, surprisingly nice room, comfortable, clean, wonderful breakfast included in the price. The hotel was quiet and felt very safe. The staff was very helpful and informative. This hotel is very close to the Blue Lagoon (about a five minute drive) but not walking distance.
