Clean comfortable restaurant next to Omaha Beach. The restaurant was amazing with the best Mussels in cream sauce, quiche and summer salad, along with wine and champagne sections. Restaurant was excellent both nights we were there

Perfection …we were warmly welcomed at check-in by Justine. My daughters and I toured Normandy during the day and were so happy to check into this gorgeous hotel. We were given adjoining rooms— beautifully decorated, and ever so comfortable. We dined in the restaurant- Thiebault, who served us, was terrific and took note of my daughter’s food allergy. We enjoyed a divine meal before tucking in. Our only regret was not staying longer!

The location. La Sapiniere is in a residential/secluded neighborhood area a block up from Omaha Beach, sector "Easy Red". Far from the hustle of the tourist sites. A wonderful place to reflect on the events that saved France, and the world, 80 years ago.
La Sapiniere was in a perfect location just steps away from Omaha Beach. Facilities were clean and beds were comfortable.
The restaurant was very convenient and the meals were delicious! Very happy we chose La Sapiniere and would love to return again some day. This hotel is conveniently located near all major D-Day sites.
The location was perfect for our trip, centrally located at Omaha Beach. The house was fantastic, extremely clean and a beautiful place to come back to after a day of sightseeing. it was very easy to contact the host when we had trouble figuring out how to work the washing machine and she was able to help us, via texts on booking.com. she was very responsive.
Beautiful and clean home in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. 3 minute drive to Omaha Beach, or a beautiful 1 mile morning run. Neighborhood is adorned with American flags and everyone is very welcoming. The home has all modern amenities and there is a small grocery store about a 4 minute drive away. The key process is simple and requires no host interaction - although the hosts were very courteous via e-mail.
The hotel is adjacent to a small, local restaurant that is obviously known by the locals. Everything (mostly seafood) was excellent. This is a private hotel and does not seem to be overly known to the many-many D-Day/Omaha Beach tourists that flock to the area. That is a shame in that is is perfectly located for that purpose.
I read some of the complaints, wasn't expecting much.
But I found a place with a lively patio crowd, restaurant
and bar., a pool, and most of all very close to Omaha
Beach. This old soldier would give it 5-stars. Many
heroically expensive hotels don't give as much.
This hotel is located just off of Omaha Beach and a short drive to the American Cemetery. The staff is friendly and even remembered what we drank in the mornings. The room was good size, and the bed was fairly comfortable. It was quit and relaxing environment and we enjoyed out stay.
I liked the hospitality of the owner. I liked the owner's pets who were very friendly and loved to cuddle. I liked the location and how quiet it was in the evening and at night. I liked Omaha Beach.
