We loved everything from the warm welcome from Giuseppe, the whole place is decorated well and spotlessly clean. Our room was huge! The staff were all very friendly and the buffet breakfast had a very good selection of both hot and cold foods.
Whilst it lies across the river from the main Old Town, it's a very pleasant and peaceful area very close to the castle and easily walkable/commutable to various sights. The Charles Bridge is just 10-15 minutes walk, Metro A line is about 10 minutes walking, several tram stops close by. We recommend visiting the gardens behind the Czech Parliamentary Senate which is just nextdoor to the hotel.
Hotel Waldstein is located in the most attractive part of Prague, surrounded by Prague Castle and just a few steps from Charles Bridge and the Old Town Square.

Fantastic location. Close to Old town, but far enough away to not be in the middle of crowds. The rooms are some of the best for the value. I will stay here again! Breakfast is also excellent. There is AC in the rooms which is a nice touch. Excellent property!

We got more than expected. The location is excellent. The apartment is huge, clean, tidy and beautifully decorated. Breakfast is varied and different every day. We enjoyed the beautiful atrium where there are breakfast tables with the chirping of spring birds. Daily maids clean the room and hygiene is at a high level. The reception staff is very friendly, they are always smiling, they always greet you and immediately respond to your every request. In case we come to Prague again, we will go to the same accommodation without hesitation.
