Everything! This was a perfect stay, an absolute dream come true. The artistic history of the place is overwhelming (ask about your room number), and the recent renovations perfectly honor this and the building's original architectural beauty without compromising on modern comfort. Nothing corporate or institutional about this place; on the contrary, it's just dripping with character and whimsy. Don't miss the lobby bar, cafe, or especially El Quijote, as these are all exceedingly beautiful and luxurious. The staff are largely friendly and accommodating, and the building is well located (a straight 10min walk from Penn Station, close to Greenwich Village, etc.). Pretty crazy that a hotel could tempt me away from exploring Manhattan. I never wanted to leave, and can't wait to return.

A new side of the city. Where elegance and ease comingle. Where a warm, contemporary design story envelops you from the inside out with stunning interiors and an awe-inspiring, rippling wave façade... It was the most comfortable oasis in the middle of busy Hudson yards. Best coffee right in the hotel and a really cool bar on the 4th floor. The staff is so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a room with an alcove and it was just pure bliss.

It is very quiet and smells really good. The rooms are very relaxing and makes you feel like you’re home. Not to mention, the friendliness of the staff ( specially George - receptionist ) . Definitely amazing hotel!

Equinox Hotels was created for those who rest and play as hard as they work. For those who seek a place that matches the scale of their ambitions and a space to restore and regenerate. Fantastic hotel. Room is really clean. Loved the minibar though items can be pricey. Really enjoyed club equinox facilities. Felt very safe in this location .

Located in upper midtown Manhattan, 1585 feet from the Central Park, the Whitby Hotel is a short distance away from stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman. Needed to be mid-town, so chose the Whitby over the Crosby. Appreciated how quickly restaurant hostess and staff were to recognize my husband and me. Excellent front desk staff. Appropriately COVID aware. Liked non-fogging mirrors in bathroom.
