Boasting a bar and a terrace, DeCamondo Galata, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is set in Istanbul, 0.1 mi from Galata Tower and 1 mi from Spice Bazaar. Very kind and friendly staff, always available to help. They also offered us a free upgrade to a bigger room. The room was spacious and clean, the hotel is located in a small quiet alley but literally in the very center of Istanbul. We also tried breakfast and dinner, very nice food as well.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Doruk Palas, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The standout feature of this hotel has to be its incredibly friendly and helpful staff and owner. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcome drink that instantly made me feel at home. My room was a haven of comfort and cleanliness, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring Istanbul. The location near the iconic Galata Tower was a real bonus, making it easy to access many of the city’s attractions on foot. The breakfast buffet at Doruk Palas was pretty amazing. It offered a wide variety of delicious options to start the day right, and the quality was top-notch. Lastly, I can’t forget to mention the delightful hotel security chief, Osman, who also happens to be the cutest cat in the house. His presence added a unique and charming touch to the hotel’s ambiance. Overall, my stay at Doruk Palas exceeded all expectations. I can’t wait to return to this gem of a hotel in the future!

The location was very good and in the town area. The layout of the hotel was good. The staff were super friendly and went over and above to help and make our stay very enjoyable.
