Hotel Orcagna is located in a quiet area near the Arno River. You can walk to Piazza S.Croce in 15 minutes, or get a bike at reception and visit the entire Florence. We were lucky to get one of the few spots in the garage just around the corner. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast! A nice short walk to the main sights.

Fiorino House is located in Florence, just 1.7 miles from Ponte Vecchio and 1.7 miles from Uffizi Gallery. A highly recommended place to stay in Florence. Not in town centre, so away from traffic and noise. It is situated in a quiet residential area, on a quiet street, so no noise from outside. In any case the accommodation is to the rear of the building on the ground floor. Excellent and frequent bus service minutes from the flat to reach the town centre and/or railway station in around 15/20 minutes. Everything you need is there. Friendly owner, who met us at the flat for keys and introduction, also left some coffee, tea, biscuits, jam and even Nutella for first breakfast. Some other basic groceries too! Endless opportunities for shopping nearby. We didn't have a car....

Located at only 164 feet from the beginning of the Unesco historical center and at the 3rd floor of an early 19th-century building, with a cargo-elevator suitable only for luggages. The location was very nice, we just needed to cross a road and we were in the old center. The room was clean and cozy. The owner, Sergio, was very helpful, he gave us a map and presented us the stuff we can do and also gave us local tips about gelato and reataurants.
