The staff was very,very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful and was selected from a menu - i.e. not from a buffet but made to order - and the location is excellent, just round the corner from Plaza Bolívar, the Gold Museum, the Botero Museum and other important sights. The room was very large and quiet. Highly recommended

Well situated in the Centro Historico La Candelaria district of Bogotá, Hotel Casa de la Luz is located a 3-minute walk from Luis Angel Arango Library, 400 yards from Bolivar Square and a 6-minute... The service was excellent. Daniel help us calling to the restaurant and making a reservation for us. All the staff was very friendly, helpful, attentive. They made us feel comfortable and like we were home. The last night there, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, what a gentleman!!! Once he knew I was from PR he played a very special puertorrican piece for me that almost made me cry. The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful. The twin room was a great size with comfortable beds. Shower was quite decent. location of hotel is a short walk from museums and central plazas. I would like to emphasize how friendly the three staff members we interacted with were (Especially William)! They helped us out with ordering transport (and pricing), recommended restaurants in the area.
