Everything about this place is so wonderful! The scenery is beautiful, rooms were super comfy, and hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating! The food was also delicious and so convenient being right on the property. The free bikes could get you anywhere you needed to go, plus they had motorcycles for rent too. The property is the perfect location, super quiet and in nature with adorable little goats, but only 5 minutes bike to restaurants and 10-15 to both Trang An and Tam Coc boat tours. We highly recommend!

Had the best stay of my 2-week Vietnam trip at the Wooden Gate. It's a pleasant jungly little oasis away from the crowds of Tam Coc. I spent an afternoon just enjoying my balcony and the refreshing pool. Logistically you'll need a bike (free) or a scooter to get around. I highly recommend renting a scooter, it gets you to the sights and Tam Coc effortlessly and lets you experience the area in a way that is so freeing and invigorating. The owner arranged taxis for me beforehand, so the whole experience was seamless. Staff were quite nice and the breakfasts were excellent. I highly recommend this little tropical hideaway between Tam Coc and Trang An.

Great location with just a 5min walk to Mua cave and 10min bicycle ride to Trang an, the restaurant serves great food and the pho bo is a must try, the room was a bit small but clean and well equipped, the pool was nice to cool down after a hot day after an excursion. The owner helped by organizing a great transfer back to hanoi.

Staff very helpful, attentive and proactive. Location was convenient and there some shops with food within walking distance.
The room furniture are adequate, room is clean and especially the bathroom. Bed is comfortable, air-conditioning and water heater is good too.
