It’s a rebuilt old fort. It’s got a steep road up to it, the restaurant wasn’t open, so if we ate, we had to rent a cab and go out. It was a pretty place, but we went off season, so first night we were only people there. Second night had one other couple. You had to walk stairs (steep) for everything. Our last night, water went off and didn’t come back on until 5 am next morning.

Our host, Lucian, was incredibly helpful and informative about the island. He thoughtfully pointed out city landmarks in Road Town that we needed to visit, helped us get into the rental, and even checked in on us during our stay. Though the apartment was small, it was functional and well-equipped with a full kitchen, plenty of outlets, and a work desk. The WiFi was strong, the water was hot, and everything was clean and fresh. "Thank you, Lucian!"

The property is located in the most unbelievable setting of beauty. Everything is perfect at long bay. The ocean color is fabulous and has beautiful waves creating peaceful sounds. There’s plenty of places to sit and take in all the magic of the Virgin Islands and the staff is friendly and smiling faces.

We enjoyed our two nights before our boat charter from Hodge’s Creek Marina. All we needed and more, including incidentals such as shampoo and cold drinks, was there for us. We also arranged for the airport pick up (by the owner) and we were happy we did this as there are no street addresses to give to a taxi driver. Next day, we attempted a hike down and up from the marina, local groceries, and a restaurant - definitely doable and a nice workout. All communication with the owner was excellent and helpful. We are thankful to the host family and we will happily return here!

I loved being on Aqua Panda for 3 night stay on board Peter and Kata’s catamaran. The hosts were kind, friendly and hospitable, doing all they could to make my stay comfortable. At the time of my stay, they wanted to move the boat so we did some sailing and sightseeing which was very enjoyable. I understand that sailing isn’t usually part of the offer, but maybe other guests will be lucky. Even being on board, without sailing, is much more enjoyable than staying in a hotel.

Stayed in a cliffside suite -- the Rose Villa. Spacious room, great bathroom with wonderful towels, fantastic view of the bay and soothing sounds of waves at night. The beach was seriously eroded by hurricanes Irma and Maria so there is no beach access at the hotel but it is a short drive to two of Tortola's best beaches -- Smuggler's Cove and Cane Garden Bay. Also loved the Sebastian Rum made at the Hotel.
This is a cute little place family run hotel. It's old but clean. The AC works and the view from our room was outstanding. The cook does everything so she wanted a specific time that we would dine. She set up our table with a white tablecloth close to the open air wall so we could watch the sunset over the water. It was so romantic! We enjoyed visiting with her.
Great little hotel in what seems like a small village. First time in the BVIs and I really enjoyed my experience. The hotel is centrally located and you are 20 minutes from most places. The beach is not great but if you are a surfer you will love it. Bring water shoes. The restaurant is right Nextdoor. The food is good and the staff are wonderful. I will be back.
The entire staff was very welcoming and friendly. Hotels location was excellent to downtown Roadtown. Balcony room with beautiful view of the waterfront. Sparkling pool! Breakfast and coffee served in terrace dining room overlooking harbor. Would stay again!
the location was great, the bed and showers were excellent and the view from the room was fantastic. The reception staff were also very accomodating with an earlier check in than usual. Overall it was well above a 2 star hotel!
The view from our deck was beautiful. We were able to walk into Road town. It was a hefty hike, but doable. The breakfast menu was one choice, but very good, scrambled eggs, toast, sausage. The dining area was lovely.
Very nice seafront location. Staff was friendly. Bar and restaurant were very good. Hotel is not in Road Town it’s in Apple Bay on the north shore.Close to nice beaches ( Smugglers cove) and other restos.
