I have been going to Wildwood since the 1970s, this by far was the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Wildwood. First class, but affordable. Great location, cool vibe with 50s and 60s music playing at the pool, mid century game room with pool table. Free bikes, beach chairs and surf boards to use. Discount card for the boardwalk rides. The staff was amazing went out of their way to help you. I can't say enough.

The amusement piers are really nice, clean and safe with lots of fun attractions. The boardwalk needs to be replaced and the places on the boardwalk seem safe and fun! Also had a Dunkin Donuts which made it easy to get a coffee in the morning as the hotel I stayed at did not offer coffee. The town has a strict curfew that's enforced at 10 pm. Most motels are old and over priced. I would ask when a hotel was last refurnished. If your goin to the Jersey shore I would consider other beaches first. The walk from the boardwalk to the actual ocean and point of waves is like a mile long!

There is so much to do at wildwood.

There is so much to do at wildwood. The beach is beautiful the boardwalk is so much fun and entertaining, food is great, streets are quiet at night and evening is pretty respectful. The city play parks are really nice and the area is clean. Just a great place all around. There really is not one thing I dislike when I visit wildwood.

We checked in on Monday, LABOR DAY.

We checked in on Monday, LABOR DAY. We were very disappointed how many places were already closed or closed wayyyyyy earlier than the advertised time. BARS INCLUDED, some before 11 PM. I was very surprised. We did eat at the Surfing Pig and that was great, then headed to the The Lazy Bass for a night cap. Nice outside bar on the water with live music and very friendly staff! We would definitely go back to both places again!

    Beach, boardwalk and bars.

Beach, boardwalk and bars. If you like that sort of thing, this is the place for you. Other activities on the island can get a little expensive but that is expected from a tourist town. Props to the people at Wildwood Waverunners and the Thundercat dolpin watch. Always a great time. I usually to to get down there right before Labor day when a lot of the Shoobies go back home because of school starting.

We drove over 10 hours from Toronto to get to Wildwood.

We drove over 10 hours from Toronto to get to Wildwood. It was our first time and we were all very pleased with our vacation. Wildwood is a great family holiday - good for multi-generational families who have grandparents and kids travelling together. Lots of opportunities to make good memories. Great for small children as well as teens. Some of the restaurants in the area were expensive, but if you plan properly, some meals could be made in advance (picnic lunch at the beach or breakfast at the hotel). Most of the coffee in the area were really good. The boardwalk is great for walking or biking, even sitting and just people watching. Lots of opportunity for shopping - souvenir t-shirts and hoodies can be found every where, so take your time to pick out what colours and logos you would like on yours. Highly recommend pizza from Founder's Grub & Pub, Polish ice water and ice cream and Quincey's original lobster rolls - amazing! Captain Jack has a drink special every night and discounted food between 4 and 6pm daily. For a great inexpensive breakfast, head over to Alex's Pizzeria & Pancake house. Avoid Ravioli House - they are very expensive and quality was okay (good but not for the price). Acme grocery store is less than 5 mins away and they have a great chicken deal at the hot food counter. The local liquor stores were pricey so you may want to bring some wine bottles along with you. But very convenient to walk to pick up beers for the hotel patio (for the quiet evening in). The beaches are very safe in Wildwood and North Wildwood. Cape May is beautiful and well worth the drive to see for the day, but you have to pay to access the beach and the water was more rough. Be ready to drive around for 15+ mins to find paid parking.

The room had all of the amenities promised and we were able to park in the shade. Prime location across from an ice cream shop and one block (about 5min walk) to the boardwalk, beach, and wildwood sign. Extremely convenient for sunrise and sunset walks on the beach. Pool is nice and room is clean, though smallish. High cost but I think that’s typical due to the high demand in this tourist town and the location is worth it.

Close to boardwalk. Clean and comfortable. Older beach hotel, not upgraded. No blanket (sheets, coverlet only). Standard door lock and chain; no deadbolt. Refrigerator and microwave in room. No coffee. Coffee shop 1/2 block away dies not open until 7. Manager said to walk to Wawa in opposite direction. Over 21 years only. You have to sign a paper with about 15 rules (no noise or profanity, no guests, etc). It was quiet.

This was our second summer staying at the Seagull. The staff is very friendly and it is an accommodating hotel. There is a good amount of parking and they have outside showers and facilities you can use before or after you check in. The motel is very close to the Wildwood Crest boardwalk and beach and there are good restaurants nearby and within walking distance also. The rooms are clean also.

Front desk reception were understanding and accommodating. Managers proactive about residents who did not follow the rules to decrease disruptions. Very clean and well maintained. The motel is right on the boardwalk. The view from the Rooftop pool area is fantastic. This is an original 1960s motel so do not expect posh luxury. Basic small room with hot water and working air conditioner. 3 small pools. Adventureland Pier is directly across from hotel. Boardwalk very family friendly.

The woman who checked us in was nice & friendly. The room was clean & nice. It was to cold to use the pool, but the pool area looked like it would be nice on a hot day. I would recommend this hotel to someone looking close to the boardwalk. I prefer to be closer to North Wildwood. It was a nice stay for what we needed it for.

Everything! The proximity to the boardwalk is perfect. The rooms are beautifully done with modern styling. The staff is wonderful, helpful and courteous. And the price is amazing in comparison to other, close-by, hotels. Don't pass on beachside! It's an amazing budget establishment and you will NOT be disappointed!!!

The hotel is 2 mins walk to the boardwalk so if you have family it’s easily accessible. This facility is also good for families and if you would want to cook . They had kitchen utensils, a small kitchenette, stove n fridge . They also had a living room and the couch could turn to a bed at night so that’s an extra bed.
