Pretty town with more going on than we expected. Lovely historic homes with azaleas everywhere! Great retail stores and some unexpectedly excellent restaurants (Javi's, Villagio del Vino). Getting around is very easy in a car (and Uber is available when you're tired of walking!). Found great live music at Rick's on the Square.

Tyler seems to be the place you go if you have a reason to go there: family perhaps, a funeral or a wedding. I can't say there is any redeeming reason to make Tyler a stop. I did though have a really nice steak dinner in a restaurant that was like going back in time. Sorry though I do not recall the name. If you do have to stay the night somewhere in the area Tyler wouldn't be your worst choice.

The town is fine. Its the hotel that sucks beyond words.
The town is fine. Its the hotel that sucks beyond words. Still no reply on my $100 deposit that isn't mentioned on Booking for a $70 room with old food in mini fridge and cobwebs in the room not to mention the bathroom with a toothbrush sticking out of the noisy ass almost falling down light fixture. I posted pictures but they may have been left. I wouldn't stay there ever again if that was the only place left in town.
What a shame for this town.

Tyler is a wonderful place, that is growing growing constantly. If you can afford it there are many mid to high-end motels and hotels in Tyler. Do not pick this location unless it's your only option financially.

First time being there was pretty cool. I came for football playoffs so I didn’t have much time to explore. But a few of the people that came with us, did have great things to see about local restaurants and etc.

Dangerous town especially north Tyler went there once for a baby shower and came back home the same day. Someone literally got shot in the next room at the hotel i was staying at because apparently that area has a reputation for crime. Never ever again will i go back
The location was quite, the hotel was one of the best we have stayed in. The facilities were clean, well kept, parking was easy. The beds were very comfortable, the air conditioning unit was quite and efficient. The breakfast was delicious and my personal favorite, the eggs, bacon, sausage, sausage gravy, biscuits, waffles, yogurt, orange juice, cranberry juice and coffee were all wonderfully good. The staff were all very friendly and polite and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.
After I paid for the reservation and on my way to the hotel, they called and just said they had no room for me. Instead of processing the refund immediately, I am waiting for them to respond to booking.com for they can refund. So why am I having to suffer because either they dropped the ball ... This is beyond horrible business. They should have to pay for the extra money that I had to put out.
The room was exceptionally clean as well as the bathroom. I wasn't expecting the bed to be very soft but it's the softest bed that I've laid in a while. The hotel was very clean on the outside and it was quiet. The breakfast that was in the morning was absolutely delicious and they had a wide variety. The staff was polite and kind.
Overall the stay was pleasant. Walking in the staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. The room had been well clean and smell nice. The bed was adequately comfy. The amenities at the hospital such as the pool, the gym, the ice machines, and the lobby snack bar was actually pretty nice.
The location is wonderful, close to so many places in Tyler, shops, mall, restaurants, hospitals etc…
The indoor pool is amazing, you are able to access it with your room key, and you can use it no matter the weather.
Staff was attentive and helpful
The lady at the front desk swiped my 4 credit cards and kept saying they did not go thru. I asked for a Manager and she fixed the issue but later that day all my cards are charged!!!!
Nothing!! Pool and room was dirty wirh roaches crawling!!!
Nothing was good about this hotel the staff was rude he told there was a 20 dollar deposit but when he seen I booked my room online he got mad and told me a 100 dollar deposit. But the lady in front of me only paid 20 for her deposit.
Bed and pillows,& covers comfortable enough to use same hotel on way back. Did have tiny microwave and refrigerator that both worked as well as heat. TV worked after adjustment due to someone else changing input.
I loved the space & the suite! There was plenty of space for all of us. I slept in the other room and I enjoyed that big bed to myself!!! Oooh and the coffee machine next to the lobby was my happy place!!
Got off price line for 45.00 then got there they charged 30.00 deposit that I haven't gotten back so I actually paid full price for dirty room dirty bathroom sockets falling out. Light blinking constantly.
I mean, the room was cheap and the location was excellent. Staff was present if needed but not actually "present" if that makes sense. Interesting crowd.
