Laura in the spa was amazing! I had a seasonal scrub w/ cranberries etc, but I'm sure any service she provides will be outstanding. All the staff was wonderful, grounds are beautiful and John Ash room service was delicious!

Great location, near the Sonoma Airport, safe area north of Santa Rosa. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and reasonably priced. Room very clean, bed and pillows very comfortable, parking is free and ample, all of the staff were very professional, polite, friendly and courteous. I highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was okay, you might consider varying ways of cooking the egg.
Nice little town with shops and restaurants. Good public transport (bus) and tourist info at the historic station. Charles M. Schulz museum was very promising and took me 2+ hours. Russian brewery for beer fans.

I liked the location and price and the garden area and pool area that you offered!
I didn’t stay near the garden area but maybe next time!
I do plan to come back and stay again!
The rooms were clean and the grounds were well maintained!
We were both pleasantly surprised when we got there!
I would recommend this hotel to others, because the price was affordable and it seemed safe and convenient and comfortable!
Our favorite spot was Dillon Beach!
Our daughter in law took us there!

We stayed at Hotel E (the renovated historic courthouse) right in the heart of Santa Rosa. Lots of activities within walking distance of a close drive (1/2 hour or less). The hotel was a delightful place to stay. For those not interested in wine tasting, some suggested activities that we did all in 2 1/2 days, 1) Safari West 2) Armstrong Redwood Preserve 3) Occidental (lunch at the Altamont General Store 4) Walk through downtown Sebastopol 5) Visit to the Charles Schultz Museum 6) Lunch (or any meal) at Mo'z right off Court House Square in Santa Rosa 7) Dinner at Ca Bianca 8) A walk around the lake at Spring Lake Regional Park.

Santa Rosa has been called many flattering things all of them well deserved. You get enough sunshine, enough cool coastal air. And there is a lot to do. Definitely if you’re doing an extended stay a value selves of Olivers market, Pacific market, and even Safeway to save money on food. The best restaurants in Sonoma county are the restaurants based around California Cuisine and local ingredients and those can either get pricey, or have odd opening hours.
As far as Safari West is concerned, they are a breeding facility and should be avoided. No true sanctuary breeds big cats or other exotic animals animals in captivity. They’ve also had tragedies there with breeding which is to be expected because exotic animals don’t breed well in captivity as a general rule. There are plenty of exotic animals that need homes breeding. That makes absolutely no sense. So please boycott Safari West.
You’re close to the ocean, you’re close to the forest and so much more. Don’t miss an opportunity to travel to this very beautiful city

Dinner at the Bird and the Bottle in Santa Rosa was very good. Looks like they have several good restaurants, we will probably be back. It's a reasonable distance from the South Bay but you feel like you've gotten away. Last time we went to the Luther Burbank gardens which was very pretty and informative.
Hotel newly renovated, matched the photos. Clean, modern decor, and comfortable beds/pillows. Great value for the area. Conveniently located next door to a lunch and breakfast restaurant. It's more of a boutique motel rather than a hotel because of the building layout with the parking just outside the room. A breakfast is included with your stay but we weren't able to take advantage of it and can't speak to how it was.
Location is nice. Across the street is a wonderful coffee roaster/shop: Aroma. Downstairs in the hotel is a nice cafe/pub. Down the street several choices of restaurants. Centrally located in Santa Rosa and close to shopping. The hotel has two foot thick rock walls and our room was so very quiet. We were on the second floor and the 101 Freeway just a couple blocks away: could not hear a bit of noise. Loved it.
The Best Western Garden was very easy to get to off the highway. Very friendly staff. The room was very clean and looked out to the pool and beautiful garden with fountain. The breakfast was a " breakfast in a bag " containing breakfast sandwiches and burritos with fruit, muffin, and granola... very quiet hotel..... well worth the money...

Room very clean, bed and pillows very comfortable, parking is free and ample, all of the staff were very professional, polite, friendly and courteous. I highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel is wonderful. The decor in the rooms was wonderful and they were super clean. They think of everything- including a dark towel for makeup removal. The bed was a dream. Breakfast was awesome. I wish that I could have bought the granola to take home. I am really glad that I found this place.
The full breakfast was great and the room was very clean and comfortable. All staff members were warm, courteous, and helpful. Because the hotel is right on the freeway, we were concerned about traffic noise and were surprised that we did not hear any traffic noise in the room throughout the night.
NO heat for three days, dirty room, charge more for Disability accessable rooms which violates federal law under the federal disabilities act, etc, Booking.com should not list this motel as a choice of hotels. It is by far the worst motel I have ever stayed in.
The room was very clean and our room was spacious. The pool and hot tub with the beautiful grounds were so inviting. The cafe was very convenient. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Definitely would stay at this hotel again.
Booked this hotel because it was pet friendly. Site did not indicate extra $50 for pet. Called hotel and asked for 1st floor room because I was traveling w/small dog and that person didn't tell me there was an extra $50 for pet
I live in Santa Rosa, and stayed here with a friend. Staff is pleasant, but seems inexperienced, or too casual.
It appears all rooms have massive windows, so the 'feel' of the rooms is of spaciousness.
Very comfortable to stay. Will stay again.
Bathroom design: Near mirror shelf to put toiletries, Towel racks on top of the sink, slide door.
Room design: Easy switch, large luggage stand.
