Only reason to go to Rochester was the Mayo Clinic. However, Booking.com did not give us the Mayo discount, don't know if that's possible through Booking.com. There is a Mayo discount with Home2Suites. Rochester has some very nice restaurants.

Rochester is arguably the most important medical city in the US if not the world. People come from all over the world for treatments at the facilities in Rochester. It is a melting pot on any given day. It is a small city but has everything anyone needs, all within an enclosed subway and skyway system so the weather does not affect movement around the downtown area.

Rochester was a very good place we were there for the Mercy Clinic for a family member. Everyone was very nice friendly helpful that was my first visit ever for me and my family the restaurants were great outstanding number I can give him 10 out of a 10 everywhere we went to eat at we will be coming back again it's not always great visits for what you're there for but it's how the people and places and businesses treat you thank you very much.
The room price and location told any experienced traveler what to expect. It is a concrete building with very durable surfaces, furniture, and bedding. I would not have been surprised if more items were bolted to the floor. The hotel was quiet when I arrived in the evening and quiet when I left at sunrise. Check in was quick and easy. The parking is off street behind the building in an open lot. The water was hot in the shower and the pressure was enough to get the job done. It was a completely acceptable place to spend the night on the road.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and accommodating. I was there with ladies in my family, and we have a strong sense of humor. The staff was joining in on our jokes, and having fun with us. This is a big plus for us, because we can get pretty goofy!
Also, we always appreciate a clean place to stay. We had 3 rooms, and all were neat and clean. We will keep you in mind when we come back to Rochester!

Extremely clean. Loved size with kitchenette and extra sitting room and the 2 TVs. Bed very comfortable. Very quiet! Heard nothing all night. Shuttle was a plus for us. Highly recommend and will definitely be back on next trip to Rochester. Also, breakfast room very nice and excellent choice of foods.
No soap available in entire hotel. I drove to Target to purchase soap so I could shower. Sink clogged. Reported at 430pm. Maintenance knocked on my door at 930pm after I had fallen asleep. They moved to a different room at 945 so he could keep working; however, the AC in new room was broken.
My second stay at Hyatt House and it won’t be the last. It’s exceptionally clean and comfortable and the staff is very helpful. Free shuttle to Mayo sites but easily walkable to the downtown clinics. Great eats nearby or delivered. Hot and cold breakfast with great coffee or teas.
