Walkable city if you don’t have a car, however, infrastructure (sidewalks, underpasses etc cracked, crumbling) and hazardous due to uneven concrete. Weeds everywhere, cleanliness an issue, trash in the street.
Cool museums, good dinning options, people friendly and helpful to tourists. Great sports town with PNC being the standout spot. Great skyline.

Loved Pittsburgh! It's a very underrated city.
Loved Pittsburgh! It's a very underrated city. There's so much to do and the views of downtown and the rivers are spectacular, especially from the observation deck of the Duquesne Incline. The found the people to be friendly even though we were rooting for the Braves vs. their Pirates. The Riverwalk is a huge plus and the bridges, parks, museums, and Carnegie Science Center also. Definitely will visit again.

Very strong smell of cigarettes inside the room, the heater doesn't heat up at all and if you turn on the air conditioning it's broken, a lot of dirt, a lot of dirt even inside the room, it's real rubbish and needs a lot of cleaning. If you need, I can even recommend a good cleaning company for you.

Interesting part of the US.
Interesting part of the US. Significant with respect to early settlement, strategic location during English, French and Native American territory disputes, industrial development and cultural importance. Heinz Museum easily the best museum I've ever been to, it captures more than just history of Pittsburgh, or the Heinz brand. It captures decades human and commercial American history similar to a lot of cities.

As cities go it is a pretty nice place.
As cities go it is a pretty nice place. None in my party felt unsafe walking around the area we were visiting. The tourists' attractions are many and a stroll to, around and fromThe Point was lovely. It is a university city, so you experience a lot of diversity and cultures which, for me, adds to the experience.

Traveled here for the Drake Concert.
Traveled here for the Drake Concert. I have to say, I have never traveled anywhere in the world with more miserable people. EVERYONE I came in contact with was extremely rude to say the least. After thinking about it, it could be because of the stance on Cannabis there. It's one of those places you travel to if you have to.
Great and easy communication with Carina. She responded very quickly even though our stay in Pittsburgh was extremely short notice and arrival time was up in the air on a Saturday night. She was extremely helpful in navigating me into the building and room. Carina even suggested nearby food and other options for our stay. The location could not have been closer to where my best friend lived. It was SO much better than renting a hotel room. I would definitely stay here again!
The room has a nice view of the Southside & Station Square which was pretty at night at an affordable price (2nd cheapest downtown).
The complimentary breakfast buffet has a nice variety of food: scrambled eggs, bacon, Turkey sausage, cheese, oatmeal and cold cereal, sweet breads & bagels, make your own waffles, assorted yogurt and fruit.
Dana at the front desk was very friendly.
Suites contain complete kitchen appliances including full sizied refrigerator, dishwasher, utensils, microwave, coffee maker, etc.. The bed was a very comfortable king size. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel was located near plenty of restaurants, shopping, and access to the highways, and about 15 minutes to downtown Pittsburgh.
The staff were so very friendly. The location can be tough to get to because of the highway barriers. My cousin picked us up and drove us in his car all over Pittsburgh: the hotel staff told us we could leave our car in the parking lot and come back and get it later. The cost of parking downtown is sinful so they saved us a ton of money.
I liked the bar area, staff was very polite, and the room was very clean. The hotel felt very secure as well due to multiple security measures and locational advantage of not being on a super busy street but also being close walking distance to market square and other areas of downtown.
The location is good. Very central in downtown PGH. The check in was smooth, the lady at the reception had a handful of useful recommendations in terms of dinner locations. The room was very clean. The coffee at breakfast was decent for a hotel of this category.
Everything was wonderful! Just wish coffee was available for a longer period of time in the hotel lobby. Although there are coffee makers in the room and a coffee shop nearby, having fresh brewed coffee would enhance the morning experience.
Our room was very comfortable. We were visiting Pittsburgh to attend a Pirates baseball game at PNC Park. The hotel is across the street from PNC Park; an easy walk. The location also provided easy access to downtown Pittsburgh.
Very spacious room located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh right near the point. The hotel was clean and close to good restaurants and a 20 minute walk to the Incline across the bridge. Would stay here again in the future.
Very clean, comfortable bed, ample free parking, quiet area, less than 10 minutes to drive to downtown Pittsburgh, plenty of food establishments nearby, responsive host, great price.
Accessibility to downtown Pittsburgh. Easy on/off highway. Hotel was updated and design used space much more efficiently. Rooms were quiet, clean and also updated. Lovely stay!
Everytime I am in Pittsburgh this is my go to hotel. The location, the space and value you cannot beat. Definitely be back the next time I am in Pittsburgh
Friendly staff, access to a bbq grill, able to get cleaning products for self cleaning the room. Definitely one of the better cheap motels I've stayed at.
A charming old world hotel in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh. We loved the look and feel of the place. The Omni will go down as one of our favorites.
