The 24 hr. Shuttle and 24 hr desk service. Our plane was late getting in by almost 3 hours so we didn't arrive until 2am . We were offered a extra hour for checking out if we needed it. Customer service was excellent

Very disappointed with the facility, the staff knew about bedbug problem and did not inform guest. Staff was well aware of issue and decided some rooms were cleaner than others, who does that, without getting problem fixed before guest have to discover issue. Carpet was filthy, not sure when the last time it was shampooed. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!!!

KC is pretty cool.
KC is pretty cool. Lots of entertainment options from concert venues to museums, bars and restaurants not to mention all the sports options. I was there twice in the last few months to go to concerts and visited the Federal Reserve Money Museum on one of the trips. Driving around downtown is a little tricky with all the road construction going on but it's not too bad, there are street cars and plenty of public transportation however. Lot's of people walking around downtown for a Thursday night! Some nice parks in the city as well. Not really a destination city but worth checking out if your passing through.

Check in was quick and easy. I love biscuits with sausage gravy and got very excited that they offered it at breakfast. However, I later discovered that the staff opened it from the can and poured into the serving tray. The biscuits and gravy were cold and not heated. Otherwise, the stay was good.

Kc's a great town, lots of great places to eat, drink, and just enjoy yourself. Don't forget to eat at Q39, my favorite bbq in KC. Also try to go and see local live music in this town Samantha Fish is awesome if she's in town, don't miss her.

So beautiful at Christmas on the plaza so many sites and restaurants and shops the view from our hotel when it started snowing was the perfect effect 😍 a very romantic evening. The hotel had a great bar and restaurant, for breakfast we walked to the cup and had great coffee and food was delish.
It's a good location to save money over a hotel downtown. Bus stop right outside the door to the city market and from there the free streetcar goes right into town. Friendly staff. If you nitpick about how fashionably current the room decor is you may not like it but the room is reasonably clean and everything worked. Good for a budget hotel. Convenience stores, fast food and a couple good restaurants within steps.
This hotel was very close to the airport which made it very convenient after my late-night flight. The room had a fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, cooking burner, ceramic plates, etc!!!) and extremely comfortable bed, good furniture, and a really nice breakfast that even had vegan options (fruit, oatmeal, plant milk for oats and coffee, etc...). I was very happy. What a great value for the money!
This is a lovely old apartment building that's been updated to hotel nicely; the room was spacious with big windows and lots of them. Nice big windows in the bathroom even. It may be one of my favorite hotels ever. Location was great; just on the edge of Country Club Plaza so that was all within walking distance. There's a pretty park right across the road.
I arrived at 2 A.M. by shuttle from the airport. Two people were on the desk, both bright and cheery. All the lights were on in my room, and the bed and pillows were comfortable.
There was a snack stand by the front desk that had a variety of foods, including ice cream. Wonderful for a 2 A.M. snack.
Convenience of being right by the airport. It's an hour and a half to drive to the airport and when you have a 6 am flight it is much easier to stay at the hotel and get some rest then take the shuttle in the morning. We stay there whenever we fly out of the KC airport.
This hotel was the prime location for our stay. Close to the Plaza and KU. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. If you want to venture out and don't want to walk defiantly take an Uber so you don't have to find a parking spot on the Plaza.
Absolutely stellar room. Super clean, super spacious and I lucked out with a great view of downtown Kansas City. Location is ideal as well for those traveling for fun as it backs up to Kansas City Live and the Power and Light district.

The room was very nice. The hotel was very clean and friendly employees. The shuttle to the Airport was on time. It was my first time staying at Orangewood Hotel, I'll stay there again. They get a 5 star rating from me.
This is my favorite place to stay in Kansas City. Location is great, rooms are comfortable, staff is always super professional and friendly. I've been staying here for years. And they're dog friendly.
