King size bed was great. Lighting in room was bright enough. Love the full size fridge with freezer. Room was away from 278 traffic. Staff was very helpful on giving directions on places to go on HHI and Savannah. Lots of hidden stores and restaurants near by within walking distance. For a one day and night stay this was a nice affordable small hotel, that offered early check in. We will be back again to book this hotel.

Absolutely love how easy it is to bike or walk the island.
Absolutely love how easy it is to bike or walk the island. (I do recommend biking over walking because it's a long strip.) The beaches are beautiful and there are so many great restaurants to choose from. Coffee and Crumbs, The Sandbar and shops at Coligny are our favorites. Nonna Marie's gelato is a MUST.

The beds were hard as a rock. We got no sleep.
The beds were hard as a rock. We got no sleep. They wanted to argue over towels. The rooms were musty. The dehumidifier didn’t work. The breakfast was pathetic. They had a couple packaged items, but they were stale way overpriced for what they provide and it’s not even close to the beach.

We love it down here, we may even move down here or close if given a chance. Even with 10,000 people down here people of all different backgrounds all just enjoying the beach and hanging out. Definitely not what the news shows us cause all I see is a bunch of folks all getting along in harmony. This is our 3rd time down in 4 years.

We've been visiting HHI for years.
We've been visiting HHI for years. It has something for everyone in the family, and we never seem to have enough time to do everything we want to do. We have our favorites but tried some different restaurants for the first time. You must try Lucky Beach Bar and Kitchen. Wow, sweet potato waffle fries to die for. World's best nachos and pulled pork. So good. Top Dawg at Shelter Cove has expanded and now has a really good pizzaria and bar with outdoor seating and gelato!! Great spot to hang out with friends. Traffic was heavy as expected for a holiday weekend, but not terrible.
Suggest taking some time to enjoy Coastal Discovery Museum at Historic Honey Horn. They have so much to offer if you love history and nature. This is a beautiful and very special place; a 68 acre sanctuary that will give you a new perspective on one of the most productive ecosystems on earth. This island is not just another tourist destination. It is a treasure.

The Omni HH Resort has the best location on the beach. Their rooms are the biggest on the island and perfect for my family - the small kitchen means we don't have to eat out every single meal. The staff is absolutely amazing! Everyone from the time you step foot through the front door is friendly, helpful, welcoming and ensuring your visit is top notch. The activities by the pool were great for the kids - DJ and games - and poolside service was fantastic! This was our second time here at we will be back.
In April 2024, I had an overnight stay and determined the hotel has great potential. The hotel was easy to locate and in a quiet area. The staff was nice. The hotel had adequate parking. The room was clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel had a pool area and decent continental breakfast options. The hotel was driving distance to Mitchellville Freedom Park, filled with African American history and a pathway to a lovely quite beach.
It was close to Tanger Outlets and restaurants. It was very close to the bridge to go across to Hilton Head Island. The staff was great especially Tim. The other front desk person was nice too . The bathrooms were clean and the food in the buffet was great . It also was a pet friendly hotel . Many people has their fur babies with them including me with our puppy Bella. Great experience I will come back . Great attention to detail too.
Both my fiancé and I had a massage/body treatment at the Arum Spa from Lizzie and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The walk to the beach from hotel room was very convenient and we loved the ability to rent chairs/umbrella the day before. Our room was kept very clean and the bed was made each day when we came back from our activities.
For the most part it went well. I was placed near an elevator and the noise was non stop. I didn't have a private enough feeling while in my room but I also took into consideration this was more of a large commercialized feel of a hotel. I think there could be better buffers for noise level especially when placed that close to an elevator.
They are updating the outdoor entertainment area, fortunately we did not have to pay the resort fee. It was right on the beach though with the sound of construction in the background. Our room had an openable sliding door which allowed the sea breeze in and the sea wave sounds. I did like having carpeting instead of a vinyl floor.
Great location for beach and trail walks.
Property is very clean and well-equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Beautiful location with a quiet, relaxed feel away from the resort hotels/complexes. Some shops and restaurants close by.
The location was perfect—right on the beach and away from the busier side of the island. Our room was immaculate. The hotel itself is very clean throughout and smells amazing. Amenities are top notch! Covered parking was a bonus. Staff was very friendly
Lovely hotel very clean and ideally located to explore Hilton Head. Close to some nice restaurants and only a few minutes drove from the beach. Plenty of parking on site and a good breakfast menu.
Location next to 1st tee, taking care about guests by staff which is nice because in the end rooms at 5 stars hotels are similar and the people are making the difference
We enjoyed staying at the hotel . The room was clean enough . The food was excellent including breakfast and dinner at hh prime . The beach is beautiful.
