Live on Long Island but this was a quick anniversary getaway. Great restaurants, beaches and local shopping. Perfect for fishing, hiking and general relaxing. Feels like New England small town life, but only 50 miles outside of NYC.

It was different, close to NYC, considering Covid challenges, this was a blessing. It had great beaches and restaurants. I am use to vacationing at Grand Ocean in Hilton Head or similar Marriott or Hilton spaces. They are larger, brighter with upscale furnishings and more accommodations.

Affordable, quaint part of the Hamptons. One of the best kept secrets of the East End! Great for families & couples. Perfect for younger generation of travelers- high end dining as well as casual options.
I cannot give a review because my husband got sick with a virus. Even though the weather was not good we were looking forward to a relaxing weekend. I called the hotel and explained we could not go.
I realized we would loose our deposit. What I did not know is that they would charge another $ 385 . I thought perhaps they could apply some of it to a future stay .My husband is 92 and was looking forward to this trip. Not good business. Very disappointed
I LOVED Bayview Resort. The person at the front desk was so friendly and helpful upon arrival, recommended a GREAT beach and I liked the small touches like a welcome bag. I also appreciate their environmentally friendly system that require your key card for the electricity. The pool was perfect, exactly what I was hoping for.
The hosts were gracious, and the facility is clean and well-kept.
I will absolutely be returning.
Room was spacious, comfortable and clean! Right on the water at the marina with outdoor porch and chairs!! Loved the hotel staff, extremely welcoming , friendly and accommodating! Staff quickly responded to any request we had and satisfied us with extreme professionalism and service. Facility has outdoor seating, picnic and grilling areas that were quite quaint. Love how the owner and staff care about their guest!
Karen and Juan were gracious hosts that offered insider tips of things to do in the area and a lovely breakfast each morning with homemade quiche, eggs and local fruit. In addition to being in a great location, the rooms are spacious, fresh and extremely clean!! We loved having breakfast on the veranda looking out onto the water and feeling the long island breeze.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I live in Hampton Bays but it felt like I was miles away. Quite beautiful and the back porch was perfect for sunning. The staff was very helpful and came over right away because I got confused about the tv remote. So nice and can’t wait to come back when the pool gets warm.
This is a wonderful hotel in a great location. The owners made me feel as if I were staying with family. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a private beach area. The continental breakfast had nice options. I highly recommend this place.
I was presently surprised at the location of this hotel. The view was stunning. Room was very clean and had everything you needed to make the stay pleasurable. Coffee on the dock overlooking the water was my favorite!
Ocean View is a verywell run business! The staff made sure the rooms were clean with easy check-in and easy check out. The location was wonderful right across from Shinnecock Bay. The motel grounds were spotless!

Easy to access from Hampton Bays LIRR station. Supermarket across the street. Tennis and basketball courts with equipment. Beautiful pool and flower gardens. Best part, affordable.
