I canceled my reservation 5 days prior to my arrival date and still got charged for a stqay that did not happen. I calceled through Booking.com and have been very displeased.
Using a separate booking service rather than interacting with your guests and customers is a disconnected way to run a hospitality business. Business and effency of profit come before customer service.

Based on the prices, you'd think that Grand Rapids fancies...
Based on the prices, you'd think that Grand Rapids fancies itself to be another Chicago, but doesn't have the cool stuff that justifies paying a premium for the visit. Restaurants are almost all closed by ten during the week (downtown, anyway), so it's not a great situation for seeing shows in the middle of the week. Art exhibits are usually pretty underwhelming.

This hotel the night staff was rude and would not assist in fixing remote to watch tv in room - only wanted reason to call cops rather than help out of town visitors. Refused to let me borrow pen or pencil to write phone number down for Choice Hotel complaint dept. Would visit Grand Rapids and area again just not this hotel. Hotel was nice and if rude person at night was not working might consider staying again but only if this person was not at hotel during stay

Your info on this hotel says there is an airport shuttle. There is not. As a result I had to keep my rental car over night to get to the airport. Cost me $50. No evidence you have reached out to me to reimburse this expense. I will be cautious about believing your marketing info on hotels in the future.

We attended a wedding at the Downtown Market place and this venue was very nice and the market place was very interesting with the varous merchants that are located there - I would like to visit there again in the near future to dine and take some food home. It is a very cool place! We considered visiting some other places in the Grand Rapids area before heading home but most activities were outdoors and most were too exerting for older people who are not that physically fit. The weather was too cool that day for outdoor things, too.
Hosts Ken and Ruth were so lovely. I actually booked this as a surprise for my daughter and son in laws 5th wedding anniversary for just one night. I communicated with Ken via text and he was so accommodating. Daughter and son in law just loved staying here, very different than a hotel. So personal and cozy. And the breakfast that is included, WOW! Thank you for a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend!
Great location in downtown within walking distance to Devos Place. The room was spacious. The hotel staff was fantastic, knowledgeable of the local area, and friendly. Breakfast was good which included bagels/toast, cereal, and hot items such as eggs, potatoes, and ham. Parking was an added fee but was in an attached parking garage. Overall a nice stay.
The staff was the best part of the stay. The front desk staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. Especially Shaniya. The hotel is a 5-minute walk to a nice mall so very convenient. There is also a Starbucks around the corner as well. I felt like I was well taken care of! Thank you!
The room was clean and of good size. The hotel maybe wasn't in the ideal location but it wasn't in a bad location. It wasn't too terrible of a drive to downtown Grand Rapids, which was our destination.

I liked the room and the location of the hotel. It was central to everything in the downtown area, and you could walk to all the restaurants and places you need to get to.
The hotel is part of a path of indoor skywalks that can take you all around the downtown area. The hotel is kept immaculate and the staff is nothing short of AMAZING!
