Nothing. It was scary and I didn’t stay. I’m pursuing a refund. Property misrepresentation
Very charming and clean town to visit. We ate at Zehnder’s and the food was good. Bronzer’s Christmas store was huge and with beautiful displays. We went back to see all the Christmas lights on display from dusk to midnight.
Location, cleanliness, customer service, professionalism,breakfast,5-7pm drinks and snacks, good working shower, room with a river view, free underground safe parking. All of the above contributed to an excellent stay at the Herzog.

Loved the peace and quiet of a riverfront terrace room.
Loved the peace and quiet of a riverfront terrace room. Great location close to stores and restaurants in scenic Frankenmuth. Sadly, the bed was uncomfortable, room could use a good cleaning and a new lampshade. Bathroom was clean. Ice machine was broken. Our fridge was running warm but was replaced quickly. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was okay. Mostly adult clientele made for a peaceful atmosphere for seniors.

We took a Golden Ticket Trolley tour, which was a lot of fun and informative. Zak and Mac's Chocolate Haus really does have the world's best toffee. And Rao's General Store had a great selection of salt water taffy. The history museum was well done.
We ate at the Bavarian Inn, which is an experience in itself, but I have to say the food was hit or miss. They had a great cranberry salad, perhaps the best I have ever had. We also enjoyed the potato-cheese puffs that melt in your mouth, but we were not impressed with the chicken.
Be sure to see the interior of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.

We have been to Frankenmuth numerous times.
We have been to Frankenmuth numerous times. This time we visited the area with all of the little shops and especially enjoyed the crepe shop, Cherry Republic, and Great Lakes Olive Oil Company. We enjoyed walking the River Walk and visiting St. Lorenz church on a self guided tour. We also shopped at the Cheese Haus.

The concept of Frankenmuth is lovely, lots of quaint shops...
The concept of Frankenmuth is lovely, lots of quaint shops and Bronners Christmas store. Although the architecture tries to live up to a Bavarian village, the comparison stops there. The town has made itself into a tourist trap with lots of water slides and over priced restaurants claiming to provide traditional German family dining. Instant mashed potatoes, waterry noodles and over cooked vegetables would have never been on the menu at any German family members table in my family. Do yourself a favor and skip dining in Frankenmuth, I think a pizza would have been a wiser investment and enjoyed more.
We did travel in January so we expected snow but the sidewalks were thick with slippery ice. As a tourist town, one would expect that the town keep the walkways safe for pedestrians especially in the main downtown core.
Beautiful hotel located in a gorgeous setting. Our first room overlooked the river and we decided ro stay a 2nd night and we're moved to a city view room with a balcony. We preferred the river view but it was pretty quiet when we were there. The breakfast choices offered a great variety and the scrambled eggs were outstanding. Hotel was very charming and both rooms had different excerpts from the life and history of Marv Herzog. Will recommend to friends ( already done) and the whole little town was well worth the visit
We were absolutely thrilled with the breakfast and dinner provided. They far exceeded our expectations. The food selections were excellent and delicious, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was attractive, and well-suited for the town. Our room was comfortable and clean, and towels and pillows were wonderful.
A clean, comfortable hotel close to all the shops and restaurants of downtown Frankenmuth. Despite being on the main drag, our room was quiet. Beds were a little on the soft side, which some people love. Shower was strong. Breakfast was more extensive than in many chain hotels.
Farmhouse was the perfect getaway with family! Super cute, and plenty of space for everyone, including our canine friends 🧡.. We loved our stay here, and we recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing getaway with family just outside the city of Frankenmuth.
The hotel itself was gorgeous, the lobby was well decorated, the gift shop had plenty of unique items in it, there was plenty of restaurants and entertainment. Also the location relative to downtown Frankenmuth was perfect.
Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast was nice and the wine/beer, cheese/crackers offered in the evening was a great addition. Excellent location. Walking distance to everything in downtown Frankenmuth.
Location was great for exploring. Breakfast was typical continental food. Hotel was clean, convenient to other Frankenmuth attractions and quiet. We decided to stay a 2nd night and they were able to accommodate us.
Any hotel in Frankenmuth itself will have a little age on it, don’t stay in Frankenmuth if you are looking for modern… but the staff and the amenities were great! Food was fresh and decent too! Kids loved it.
Nice comfortable amenities. Daily full breakfast each morning. Great location to Downtown Frankenmuth. Desk staff were friendly and accommodating. I would consider this hotel again in the future.
Lots of fun things to do for the family. Our son especially loves the indoor mini golf and the waterslides. The arcade is fun. The village for shopping is a quick walk from the hotel.
They know all about customer experoence and exceed all expectations. Staff all friendly & helpful. This is the best hotel. Food is great!! Love all the extras...
