The code was sent to me which I was unaware of but nevertheless my email have the appropriate information. The room was very quiet and spacious for 2 persons. Any more would be tight. The bathroom was glorious; loved the layout and luxury feel of the room. Perhaps we overlook it but there was no TV , although not sure where it would be placed anyway.

I didn't do much in Dobson,. I was on a Motorcycle tour and just passing thru. The "Diner" next door was open early, served good food at a great price with a friendly staff. Hotel accomodations were dated and worn out. The Staff was so friendly and polite, and made our stay better than it should have been. This place needs a face lift, bad.

Cute town, a few diners, many wineries in area. Very close to Mt. Aery (Mayberry). Try to go the second weekend of Oct. for Mayberry street festival...SUPER FUN!!! Great place to eat (pricey) right outside Dobson is Cody Creek Beautiful grounds!!
This hotel was not in a congested area, but a quiet town. The nearby winery is apparently an attraction. They had wine tasting on Friday night at the hotel. This was an unexpected surprise for me! The room was comfortable and quiet. The hot breakfast was excellent, but very popular. Seating was difficult, so we sat at the tables outside.
Location is good. No breakfast facilities. Excellent diner beside hotel, but not open Sunday and Monday. Dairy Queen and bar and grill across street. Homey atmosphere.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The Surry Inn is an older style motel, but it was clean and was an excellent value! Will definitely stay there again!
