Good location, hotel was clean, room was comfortable.
Cincinnati is a mixed bag. Great sports town with good resturaunts and amazing parks! But it is very trashed and the roads/traffic patterns are like trying to navigate 1920's New York with 2024 Vehicles. Just awful... Uber to everything!

My husband and I loved walking around taking in all the wonderful architecture that downtown Cincinnati has to offer. We also enjoyed the variety of eating options the area had to offer! Our favorite restaurants were Nickleson’s and the Metropole.

I was only there for part of the day and I explored the Taft Museum/National Park. It was very interesting and there is a lot of information on President Taft. The house is in great shape but does have a lot of steps, however there is also a hidden elevator. Just tell your guide about your mobility issues. I had plans to see the zoo but it was 35 degrees with snow flurries the next day. So I opted for the Creation Museum; it has really grown since my last visit! It is awesome.

Like many cities Cincinnati is beautiful in parts.
Like many cities Cincinnati is beautiful in parts. There is a great art and food scene, and plenty to do and enjoy. Transit is not particularly difficult and parking is difficult but available, and pricy.
The problem with Cincinnati is the level of crime and drug use throughout the city. One can't walk 100 yards without smelling marijuana and the promlems of poverty and homelessness are continuously evident. The good and bad parts are common to most cities. Oddly right across the river in Newport Kentucky the crime, drugs, etc. Seem basically non-existent. The Newport Aquarium and Hoffbrau Haus were great.

We came away with a much greater appreciation for the city...
We came away with a much greater appreciation for the city of Cincinnati and Ohio in general. We appreciated amazing food, art deco architecture, art, and science in the city. The zoo is so much more than just Fiona. The animal enclosures are well-designed to provide a reasonable experience for the animals and great viewing for guests. The Cincinnati Museum Center and American Sign Museum were fun too.
The breakfast was great! it was fresh. What impressed me the most was the cleanliness. The room, washroom, and overall hotel was exceptionally clean and that was a major plus point. Extra pillow, and comforters were in the room. Usually, we always have to call front desk and request pillows and comforter for sofa bed. At this hotel it was the first time that they had everything available in the room. The owners were super polite, we met them around breakfast time and they made sure that we were ok ! we will definitely stay there again!
The most attentive staff I've ever experienced at any hotel in the world. Not just an individual here or there, but the entire staff. When my luggage didn't make the connection on my flight (arrived the following day), the entire staff knew about it whenever I had an interaction with new staff member. They all proactively mentioned they were keeping an eye our for my luggage and would deliver it as soon as it arrived.
Of course, the hotel is beautifully remodeled and the rooms are excellent.
Nothing..the staff was very rude..they lied when we found a cockroach in our room they said we would get our money back but did not. We had to leave at 11:30 at night because we did not want to stay in a hotel that had cockroaches. I would never stay there again!! Rude and liars ..they also tried to say we probably planted the cockroach which is insane we had travelled 7 hours to get there from Canada and then went to a concert..the last thing we wanted was to nit be able to go to bed!!
This historic hotel is quite grand - its Art Deco stylings are really quite stunning and you really get the sense you're staying in somewhere special. The rooms were excellent - huge, comfy beds, memory foam pillows etc. Among all the grandeur, however, what really make this hotel is the staff. The front desk workers were extremely friendly and helpful, while Kelley the porter is a really special, larger-than-life character.
This was my first time staying at a Tru by Hilton and we loved it!! The front desk staff were awesome from check in to checking out. Probably the best breakfast since COVID at a hotel. Loved how modern everything was. The room was perfect! It was so nice to see that there wasn't any carpet in the room. The shower pressure was fantastic and nice and hot! We will absolutely be staying again.
This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It was my first time staying in an apartment style hotel, and I was not disappointed. The room was beautiful and cozy. The walk in shower was amazing! Everything was just perfect when it came to the actual room. So, so beautiful. If I ever come back to Cincinnati, I will definitely return to this hotel.
Excellent location close to all amenities in downtown Cincinnati. The staff were extremely helpful, as we brought our bikes with us and they kept them just behind reception. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We didn't eat, but we had cocktails and the barman was top-notch.
And of course- the art is great.
Enjoyed the staff (Dani in the bar was excellent, provided great service and conversation). Rooms was of good quality for the nightly rate. They had an indoor bar next to the lobby. The hotel lobby and elevators stayed cleaned. I would stay again whenever I come to Cincinnati to visit from Kentucky (502)
The location was excellent for our needs. Located in downtown, it was an easy walk to many of the things we wanted to see. The room was beautiful, very clean, and more spacious than the average hotel. It gave the family a chance to spread out after being cramped in the car for hours.
The room was clean with no “hotel smell”. The room was a little small but that’s expected for an older downtown hotel. It appeared to be nicely and somewhat recently remodeled and that was nice. It was close to just about anything you’d want to do downtown.
A beautiful hotel with a fenced in back patio and fire pit. A great indoor pool, and FREE laundry services!
Our room (306) had a full size fridge, dishwasher, and stove. Plus the beds were so comfortable I slept the best I had since leaving home.
The hotel was beautiful, clean and in a great location only 13 mins away from downtown Cincinnati which is why I was in town fir a concert. The hotel staff was amazing as well! I will definitely book here again in the near future!
The staff was always welcoming and attending to my needs. The location is one of the best in Cincinnati area....close to one of the best mall Kenwood and The Whole food market. The hospital also is within 5 minutes from the hotel.
Everything about the apartment was perfect for our stay. Great communication from the host, clean, spacious, all great facilities. Safe building and great location walkable to all the sights of Cincinnati. Highly recommend.
Great location. Only 15 minutes to downtown. Excellent price compared to outrageous prices charged downtown. Excellent overall hotel with very nice reception. Breakfast was excellent in all respects. High recommended.
clean, friendly staff, our King room was amazing, very spacious, loved the spa shower. Best hotel we’ve been in and we have been traveling for 3 weeks so far.
