It was an amazing stay! Quiet and relaxing!

It was an amazing stay! Quiet and relaxing! Absolutely beautiful area! The staff was wonderful and accommodating to my specific needs. They weren't a requirement, they were complimentary to me from the hotel. I asked for a late check out and they graciously gave it to me so thank you!! It was a much needed short vacation on my part!! I will be back!!

This was a quick stopover, so we didn't get time to visit many of the sights in the area - a two night stop would have been better, so we could have spent a day exploring Canyon de Chelly National Monument.

Canyon de Chelly is one of the most beautiful canyons in the Southwest. It has a special quality to it that's hard to capture with words. I would call it transcendent. It doesn't attract the hordes of tourists that the Grand Canyon does, so you can really find a quiet place along the rims and feel one with Mother Earth and the ancient ones. A visit there is restorative.

    Go and see the sights!

Go and see the sights! We have yet to take a guided tour but, we will on our next trip. The scenery is breathtaking, insightful and humbling. So many different locations to drive and explore on your own. I recommend the Thunderbird Lodge for food, although Junction is delicious, Thunderbird was the group favorite. Be respectful of the wonderful people who live and work here. It is beautiful but it will only stay that way if the visitors (like myself and fellow travelers) don't mess it up.

The Canyon de Chelly is absolutely stunning. Mesmerizing.

The Canyon de Chelly is absolutely stunning. Mesmerizing. I have to admit that I was ignorant of the history of the Navajo and it was an eye opening experience to learn what happened there. We hope to return when we can take a tour of the canyon floor. Not much going on restaurant wise in Chinle but the Basha's grocery store has a good selection.

I have been all over Arizona and I believe this area is THE most spectacular! The views, every where you look are breathtaking. So many old ruins to explore, caves to enter and history to learn. Visiting here is like a trip back in time, before people threw trash everywhere.

Having stayed at BW motels across the country dozens of times over the past 40 years, I'm aware the company has been raising its standards. And its prices. I'm not entirely on board with the concept of the price rises exceeding the quality increases. I did enjoy the very roomy space, the high quality sheets, the easy access and reliable WiFi. I DID like Best Western for many years. (Note the Question: "What DID you like?")

There is a restaurant in the hotel parking lot that was great! Not many food options in Chinle but this restaurant had the market cornered for locals and tourists - FYI get there early before 6 pm because it is popular. Clean big hotel room really close to Canyon de Chelly.

Location. (however, address on google maps did not lead me to the hotel but to a dead end dirt road.) The PIZZA HUT pizza was very authentic, scrumptious. Access to room very convenient, especially for my wife with knee problems. Front desk staff was wonderful. Thank you.

The location was perfect, near the mouth of Canyon de Chelly, where we had booked a tour. The adobe style buildings were beautiful, and had the nostalgic feel of an old style motel, yet with the modern amenities. So unique compared to the large corporate chain hotels.

Rooms were comfortable with an excellent view of the natural red sand of the canyon nearby. The location was quiet, and the rooms were comfortable and spacious. The controllable thermostat was adjustable to your own comfort level. On-site restaurant and gift shop.

Convenient stop-over whilst visiting National Parks in the area. Room and bed comfortable, with table and two chairs. Shower good. Plenty of parking. Restaurant on site, but separate from hotel itself.

Perfect location inside Canyon de Chelly, other more "famous" hotels are farther out of the Canyon. Beautiful setting around big cottonwood trees. Room is nice and clean with modern amenities.
