I grew up there and it's improved since I last moved from there. I was good to be home again. La Quinta is a nice hotel but there are few things they need to improve on. the parking area needs to be redone, too many potholes. the rooms are nice, but the breakfast service left alo to be desired, they needed more staff. The staff that was there was very nice but what staff they did not have made our stay less enjoyable

Bloomington is a great place to overnight, with many hotels from which to choose, Except when there is some event, such as sports or weather event, that rapidly consume last minute room reservations.
As for access to restaurants, shopping, events, etc. Bloomington is car-centric so be prepared to either rent a car, cab, or Uber or schedule the courtesy van.

The convenience of Walmart in the area and restaurants was good for the budget made it affordable.it was very easy to get around the area I enjoy it very much, very beautiful city and the mall was so much to see I know one day I didn't see everything but what I did see was an eye full,one thing I had a problem with in the Mall was not enough seating me 65 with teenagers every time I wanted to set, the seats were taken for the first floor please get more seats for the second floor , Thank you

The rooms were okay but needed dusting especially when we turn the air conditioning on. And the sheets for the hideaway bed needed a washing.

The breakfast was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, and I was grateful for the complimentary shuttle service to the Mall of America. The rooms were clean, and they had a fridge and microwave which is important for my family when we travel. If I had to pick one negative thing, it would be that the beds were not as comfortable as I would have expected.

Everyone at the hotel made our trip enjoyable with their hospitality and kindness. The room was great and the size gave our daughter room to move around and enjoy herself with two tvs and essentially a living room attached. We weren't there long enough to take advantage of every amenity but what we did was amazing.
To be honest I paid 150.00 for 2 beds...no microwave and the bathroom double doors weren't able to lock. If people pay 150.00 there should be complimentary breakfasts or ateast a continental breakfast. I stayed at a small hotel in Wisconsin and they had 50 rooms but there was a indoor swimming pool a quiet bar and the rate was only 80.00. The parking lot was cozy unlike your parking lot that screams don't park here. The roads leading there were full of potholes and charging an extra 100.00 for security deposit is a turn off.
Check-in went well. Didn’t wait very long to be helped. Able to check in within 30 minutes of arriving at hotel. Breakfast was delicious!! Our waiter was great. Very attentive and nice. Also, when checking in, the clerk gave me three free breakfast cards for the adults in our group since we wouldn’t be able to use the executive lounge as it wouldn’t be open during our stay. Can I have this stay be reflected on my Choice rewards account?
We stayed here on a layover at the airport. Free, convenient shuttle to and from the airport. A few fast food restaurants located nearby for convenience. Room was pretty standard, we found it clean and comfortable. Would I stay here if I was actually visiting Minneapolis? Probably not, but it was perfect for an airport layover hotel.
Only one girl from receptionn was very kind of person and the maids were equally kind and accommodating,but I can not say the some for.other staff.
We waiting for the shuttle more then 1 hour and they did not follow the schedule.The found was not good at all.
I don't recomendet this hotel .
I have nothing good to say about this location maybe the online people that help book the hotel rooms should check them out before they offer the services
