This hotel is great for a quick stop over of a night or two. We stayed there on a previous date but the a/c unit was a bit noisy and woke us up several times during the night. But our second visit was great the a/c unit was quiet so we slept well.
Just 1 mile from the State University of New York at Binghamton, this hotel has an indoor pool and free Wi-Fi. Chenango Valley State Park is a 20-minute drive away.

Location was good. No carpet in the room was good. Enjoyed the fitness room.

I did NOT stay in Vestal. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Downtown in Binghamton, NY. I had made a reservation in August to attend an event in Binghamton, but I was told upon arrival that there was NO reservation.
We stay at Comfort Inns often. We are Wyndham members and as such, typically find them to be fine and accommodating for the value. But when they expect a $50 surcharge on a $79 room, in order to check in 1 1/2 hours early, that is not accommodating at all. We visit Boston often, staying in far more upscale hotels and are never charged extra for an early check in. If the room is ready, it is ready. What are you charging extra for, holding my luggage?
