Bedroom was great,but the toilet seat was too low,my wife suffers from arthritis in her knees and back so she couldn't get up and the bathtub didn't have strips, it was too slippery..

had to re new Key every day, broken down elevator, way too noisy in the bar, food was below average, people smoking at the front doors, staff unhelpful, rates are way too high for what it is, I will never stay at this location again, we was with 30 other people at a competition and they all fill the same way

The staff is far superior to any motel in Amarillo.
You have to understand Amarillo before arriving there.

Outside of that, the people were very friendly and the Mayor even came out to visit us and express his thanks for our group visiting Amarillo.

Amarillo has everything you could ask for, good places to...
Amarillo has everything you could ask for, good places to stay and alot of good places to eat, shopping and entertainment, we have stayed at the cactus cove inn many times when it was under other names. We like to go to the bar and have fun and dance, its convenient we dont have to leave , we can walk to our room. I would definitely reccommend staying here, it is so pretty!!!

Seamed to have a lot of road noise when we entered the room, but was very easily ignored by the time we went to bed. No bad smells considering the close proximity to the interstate. Amarillo a very industrial city, but friendly and courteous.

We were supposed to stay again on our way back to Tx from Colorado but there was a storm! I called and let them know there’s no way we can proceed there was tornado and we were scared to proceed so we found a haunted house on the middle of nowhere!
I am asking for my refund at atrea but I haven’t received it yet!
They CHARGED US EVEN IF WE DIDN'T MAKE IT THAT WAS OUT OF OUR CONTROL!
I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

It was not as nice as other Microtels we have stayed in.
It was not as nice as other Microtels we have stayed in. Just dated and the desk top was not cleaned by the staff. That was disappointing, every surface should be cleaned. The pool is not inviting, and was kinda cold.
The beds were so comfortable and Joe at the front desk was amazing. I think he was doing 10 things at once but truly a customer service pro. We were in the car 10 hours with our small kids, and Joe was able to get us into our room 45 minutes early. We were so exhausted and he seriously made our whole trip! The pool was wonderful, food choices around the hotel ideal, and zero noise at night. We will always stay here when in Amarillo!
Big room, super comfortable bed and pillows. Has been recently renovated and it shows. No errant hairs in the bathroom or on linens. The room was visibly clean. Seems like a low bar to clear, but having done a lot of traveling and hotel stays, it makes such a huge difference. It was my 2nd time staying at this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to book a 3rd time if I pass through Amarillo again.
This is a relatively new build hotel and is fresh and clean. Good sized room that was also comfortable. Reasonable breakfast choices available and food was of good quality and freshness.
The hotel location is convenient to access to / from the freeway and is only a 10 minute drive from the historic old town Highway 66 strip which we visited to enjoy the old style feel and some great food.
The beds are very comfortable and the wifi was good. Desks are important, We old folks like to play computer games in retirement. This hotel was under construction, and we were sent from a reserved hotel that had been bought by the same people that was under even more severe construction. I think that with time these two hotels will be quite nice,
Booking should have given that room free for two reasons because I have made a reservation in a hotel that no longer works (Rest inn Amarillo I-40) I lost my time arriving there after a trip of 11 hours and also because of a misleading offer because in the Extend a Suite Amarillo West did not give breakfast.
The rooms we’re comfortable, the staff was all friendly and helpful, the pool area was clean and fun, having a clean bathroom across from the pool was great as well. We didn’t travel w a dog but I love that it’s a pet friendly hotel. The price for value was great!
This was a very nice hotel for a very nice price. I don’t foresee ever being in Amarillo again but if I was, I would stay here and you should too.

The hotel is beautiful and the room was spacious, contemporary and nice clean hard surface flooring! The bathroom and couch area was a bonus. The entrance, breakfast area and check-in was clean, inviting and open!
The breakfast was fine. The area was clean and quiet, with enough space to social distance. The hotel was clean and appeared to have fairly new updates to sidewalks etc.
