The breakfast and dinners were great and very reasonably priced! The staff were excellent and very responsive to WhatsApp and were very accommodating when we arrived later than expected. The service was exceptional!

The cabins themselves were very beautiful - clearly well maintained and well kept, and very modern. The bathroom was very large and had a nice shower that had warm water (though the pipes got clogged on my last day and didn’t work). The views from the cabin were absolutely stunning; it is set on the very edge of a cliff overlooking all of Sipi and the surrounding area, while being nestled within the banana and coffee trees. The food was all freshly made and delicious; no set menu, you just ask for what you want and they’ll make it. The staff were very friendly and inviting. The owner went out of his way to ensure I had a good experience, even helping me to book a taxi/matatu from Kampala directly to the lodge - which I never would have figured out on my own! Also helped me to book all of my touring with a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Truly made my solo trip one to remember.

The owner and his wife were lovely, the accommodation is basic but does the job. They will make you a hot shower if you ask for it and take you to the point for sunset which was beautiful.

What a beautiful place to stay to enjoy the Sipi area ! We were welcomed with fresh passion fruit juice and big smiles ! The staff are amazing and very nice ! The food was soooooo good , I’ve been in Uganda for 4 weeks and the food is the best I have had ! It is traditional food with a gourmet twist and huge portions ! I read in some of the reviews that people said they could only eat there because there were no restaurants around and sometimes they didn’t like that because food is 5$ for breakfast and 10$ for lunch ( so could be expensive depending on type of traveller) , but the little town is easily accessible by walking (15/20 mins) or boda boda and we had traditional meal in the town no problem and there is other little vendors selling fruit, chapati , samosas, fruit ! But I honestly recommend to spend the money and eat there the food was insanely good ! Accommodation was very comfortable and even had our own private bathroom and shower in the little hut we stayed in ! Nowel was our guide for the 3 waterfall hike and abseiling and he was amazing ! Nowel also helped us get a taxi to Kampala which was very helpful! Also bring enough cash or be prepared to send Airtel money because we didn’t have enough and they were so nice and let us send later when we got to Kampala ! Great place to stay and very cheap for that area 10/10 recommend !!!

The people are very friendly, and Sipi Falls are breathtakingly beautiful! The Kapchorwa roads, however, leave a LOT to be desired!
The poor condition of the roads is not enough to deter me from returning to Kapchorwa, but it does make traveling in Kapchorwa very challenging!
